Anybody here heard of this woman? she really changed my whole philosophical view.

YES!!!!!!

She wrote "The Fountainhead" and that magnum opus "Atlas Shrugged." 

"Atlas Shrugged" literally changed my whole outlook.  That book, along with listening to Chaim on QPTV was what made me into a conservative.

p.s. -- as you probably already know, she was a best friend and confidante to Cecil B. DeMille, and had a bit part in The Ten Commandments.
