Dr. Brennan Fan, the moderator who deleted the thread has not come forward yet to explain his actions but in any event, I think it is clear that the thread should not have been deleted.

Please start the thread again.

I apologize to Dr. Brennan Fan for the deletion.

In the future, our policy is not to delete threads that are objectionable but rather to move them to the administrative section so that other moderators and admins can review the thread.

For the record, I know who deleted the thread. Our software enables us to see when moderators delete threads or posts. However, because the moderator involved is a great JTFer who has never done something like this before, we will just assume that this was an unfortunate mistake.
