Ask JTF for Sunday, October 3, 2010
« on: September 25, 2010, 05:38:45 PM »
Dear Chaim, four questions for this week's Ask JTF.

1. Last week on Ask JTF, you mentioned Linda McMahon running for Senator for Connecticut. Wouldn't you agree with if not for her involvement in professional wrestling, most "normal" people wouldn't know who the hell she was. After all she is the wife of Vince McMahon the chairman of the WWE.

2. Name five Muslim Nazi countries you'd wish to see destroyed completely.

3. What is your opinion on the talentless kurva, Miley Cyrus?

4. And my fourth and last question can you please share with us a recent Arabian Action story?

Shalom Chaim,

1: Unfortunately I'm not sure that I agree with you that Sarah Palin would prove unpopular in the primary. Her endorsements this year have carried a lot of weight--almost all of the people she has endorsed have won. She has a huge cult following and in the eyes of her fanbase, she has not been discredited at all. What can we do to stop this and completely destroy her reputation?

2: What is your opinion of Delaware's Christine O'Donnell?

3: Obviously if Larry Flynt (the pornographer) ran for the GOP nomination, it would be to mock it. But don't rule him out too quickly. He has loads of money from his filth empire and with the "libertarian" philosophy having made massive inroads into the GOP (thanks to the Paul family, yimach schmam), perhaps he could get a toehold in it. No, he cannot win, but if he really wanted to he could make a spectacle of the political system. Please talk about the kind of sick Republican voters who would support his paralyzed tuchis.

4: There are actually grass-roots Republican volunteer organizations urging Larry Flynt (the ex-senator/actor) to run in '12. Talk about the kinds of Republicans who still support Flynt even after his joke of a run two years ago.

Dear Chaim:

Hope all well with you my brother.

(1) What do you make of Avigdor Lieberman's repeated statements that a population transfer of the Arabs in the land of Israel is critical to an "Piss Agreement?"

(2) What exactly is the Rastafarian religion about and have you ever had any encounters with the shvartza fringe group?

(3) Last week I read a story on Haaretz.com about a "Fagastinian" from the Judea who was seeking asylum in Israel because he was being persecuted as a homosexual.  Personally, I would have granted him asylum and the tied him to the ground 5 feet from an Israeli F-15 Strike Eagle about to launch.  The firing up of the engines would have taken care of the problem once and for all.  Has Israel sunken so low that a request for asylum is even plausible?

All the best,

Nekama

Dear Chaim,

I'm starting to notice that the Ask JTF program is getting shorter than normal and what is causing your voice to fade during the program at certain points? What will happen in the month of October and November? Who Texas vote for this November and why? Do you have an African Action story this week?

If little Israel loses it's heartland to the Arab Nazi's Gd Forbid, where in Israel do you think these animals will target next?

Do you think The Jews of Jerusalem, Judea & Samaria should declare an independent Jewish state in Israel's biblical heartland if Pipi agrees for a Arab Nazi state Gd Forbid?

Is there any country on the side of Israel saying don't give up land?

Shalom Chaim. I'm a regular member on the Hebrew forums, this week I have three questions concerning some religious denominations:

1) What do you think about the Karaites?

2) What do you think about "Lubavitch Messianism"?

3) What do you think about the "Messianic Jews"?

Dear Chaim,
I saw a documentary where they said that the ancient Israelites were not really slaves, but called "avadeem" which means paid servants. They also said that the Jews started out as mercenaries for the Egyptians. Are these statements true?

Shalom Chaim,

1)   What is your opinion on Beth Gilinsky and the organization that she founded called the Jewish Action Alliance?     Beth was one of the speakers at an anti Ground Zero Mosque rally back in August.

2)    While I know you are rightfully totally against Israel receiving Foreign Aid,    what is your opinion on Israel purchasing sophisticated miliiary equipment at market value?     Or trading for such military equipment?   Especially under the horrific condition that Socialism is a central theme of the Israeli economy and this isn't likely going to change until a Kahanist Government is in place in Israel.

Thanks as always,  eb22.

Hi Reb Chaim,

I know many of the JTFers may not be too familiar with me, so a brief introduction.

I am Zev, from London and 26 and been a member here since its inception, though not active, due to some personal matters. I write this with great pain, sadness and a broken-heart after seeing my father (z"tl) pass away yesterday afternoon in Hospital. He was 58 - same age as Rabbi Kahane, zt"l, H"yd. My whole family is torn, broken and extremely pained by this great loss. I didn’t have such a good connection with my dad, but on 2 recent visits to him I spoke a few words with him.

My family and I were at his side as he was nifar. We and the chevra kadisha said Shema, vidui, Hashem Hu Elokim and Nishmas Kol Chai and his neshamah (soul) departed. We were all crying heavily and bitterly.

Words of nechama and comfort wouyld be greatly appreciated and would have a lot of meaning. I am saying yitgadal (the Mourners prayer /kaddish) for him now and the shivah started last night, motzaei yom tov / Saturday night - lasting 'till Thursday morning. All the families are united and cooperating at this time, thank G-d, despite differences.

He was in and out of Hospital for the las months, following several brain bleeds, the discovering of several brain tumors and a strong chest infection. He was breathing with oxygen supply for the past few days, and his level of breathing changed for the worse yesterday morning. My mother, sisters etc are shattered. This is a heard time for me now.

If you and JTFers could do something – i.e. learn - leliu nishmas - in memory - it would be great - his name: yisrael yehoshua heshel ben zev.

Thanks,
Shalom
Zev

Dear Reb Chaim,

I like the Book of Proverbs very much. There is lots of truth in it.

Can you give a short introduction to it?

Sincerly,

Ulli

P.S.

Why do Nazis and Socialists welcome the criminal ideology of Islam? Every normal freedom loving person is disgusted, but this two groups seem to feel different. Why do they act like this? I see no profit for them.

Shalom brother Chaim, ma shlomcha?

My questions/comments for this week:

1. I find it kinda funny that soviet Jews are more right wing than the average israeli, even though they are overwhelmingly secular and probably more secular than any other Jewish community  in israel. And according to my acquaintance with them, many of them are even more secular than the average secular Jew. I myself am not religulous, but even to me this seems kinda weird (in a positive way of course).
it's just too bad that most of them voted for a curropt Shcmuck (Aka Avigdor Lieberman).
Anyway, why do you think this is?

2. Do you have any idea what Obama meant when he said that America can 'absorb' another terror attack? According to this statement, is he really suggesting that he personally can handle a situation where his wife's being slaughtered by Muslim terrorists? Or am I just taking things out of context?

3. I've recently heard that four congressmen sent a letter to Obama, requesting that he finally releases Pollard in order to push israel to promote so called "peace" (in other words - for the wrong reasons). I know that you're against another freezing in exchange for Pollard, and so am I. But for some reason there is still a small fragment in my heart that wants this exchange to take place, just like there's a fragment deep down inside me that's hoping for Gilad Shalit's liberation, even in the price of releasing 1,000 terrorists.
My problem is that Every time I read somewhere about both of these Transactions that may or may not have a slight chance of progressing (for a bad bargain), my brain tells me "this is insane", but in my heart I hope these crazy transactions do take place eventually. I'm sure I am not the only one who feels this way, so I'm very interested in your opinion, and if you can honestly tell me if you feel the same way about this.

Chaim hayakar, toda raba lecha veshavua tov,
Herutnik.

Shalom Chaim

I want to follow up on a discussion we had a few weeks ago about why Israel has deteriorated in terms of self respect, self reliance, appeasement and needing approval from the outside world.  You said it was that secular nationalism is unsustainable.  I think there is a great deal of truth to that at least in theory.  I also think that Jewish culture minus the religion makes little or no sense.

Anyway getting back to Israel, while your hypothesis is very logical I am not sure it is born out by experience.  The Israel that said no to the US, the UN and the world was very secular.  It was led by people like Ben Gurion, Levi Eshkol and Golda Meir.  The Jewish underground, the Irgunists and Sternists were led by secular people.  Rabbli Kahane once said that when talking about the Jewish right to the land of Israel, Begin puts Orthodox Rabbis to shame (that was before his caving in to Sadat and Carter).  The Orthodox Parties in Israel at best seem to pay lip service to the Land of Israel, Rabin once noted he was surprised at how little he had to give the Orthodox Parties to get them to agree to Oslo.  There is no more stalwart champion of the Land of Israel these days than Aryeh Eldad who is largely secular.
So is secularism really what is pulling Israel down?
We all need to pray for Barack Obama, may the Lord provide him a safe move back to Chicago in January 2,013.

Dear Chaim,

I have 2 questions for you this week.

1) I've recently read an article which claims that the typical attire of Haredi Jews (black hat, black coat, white shirt, etc.) is based on the clothes worn by Polish noblemen in the 18th century, and Jews had never worn such clothes before that time. Is this information correct, or is it just a smear against Haredi Jews? Also, if it is false, where does this style of clothing really come from? When did Orthodox Jews start dressing like that?

2) What are your thoughts on the emotion of hate? Do you think it is natural and healthy to feel hatred towards our enemies and those who wish us harm? Should we hate those who have wronged us in the past? Or do you think we should strive to overcome such feelings?
Also, what do you think about the Christian ideal of "loving your enemies"? Is this ideal applicable to Jews? And is it a good idea in general for people to follow?

Thank you for your answers,

Estragon1396

Greetings Chaim. Someone on Pal Talk a few years ago once told me I shouldn't be friends with Jews because Jews don't consider Gentiles to be human beings, but animals in human form. I told him he was nuts and dismissed it from my mind. Then several months ago a Jewish person told me that Gentiles are animals so this reminded me of what that anti-Semite had said. Do you know where this idea comes from, even if it's exaggerated or wrong? I don't believe that most Jews feel that way because most of the Jewish people I've spoken to have seemed like very nice people and you've stated in the past that Jewish doctrine says that all human beings are created in G-d's image.

Shalom Chaim,

Do you believe that certain stories from the Bible were inspired by older stories from other cultures? For example many scholars claim the flood story of Noah is similar to many flood stories found throughout different cultures, the oldest source being the Babylonian Epic of Gilgamesh.

Shalom brother Chaim,
I was reading Mein Kamf the other day (have you read it?) , and I think I believe his general feeling toward secular Jews was worse then that  of religious ones , I was surprised

For example, Hilter states;
"I now saw the liberal attitude of this press in a different light; the lofty tone in which it answered attacks and its method of killing them with silence now revealed itself to me as a trick as clever as it was treacherous; the transfigured raptures of their theatrical critics were always directed at Jewish writers."

Hmm, sounds like John Stewart not Rabbis that sit and learn Torah.

Is this sentiment  what Rabbi Kahane said when he stated people talk down to Jews when they are no around in bars?

"For the so-called liberal Jews did not reject the Zionists as non-Jews, but only as Jews with an impractical, perhaps even dangerous, way of publicly avowing their Jewishness."

People that hate Jews like the Hitler creature do not care how "liberal" or "modern" you behave and act?

Today, its the  Karl Marks Gorge Soros   , Mike the Kike  Bloomberg Madoffs , Emanuel  Etc, Etc that are causing Jews a mess and make Jews look like they are trying to take over the world.

Did I understand what Hitler was trying to convey?
Do you feel Jews should read this? Because it lets us know what others think of us. It is popular among Arabs and we should know what they know.

You thoughts? Anything to add?

Thanks as always

Shalom Chaim and Thank you as always for your hard work and for answering my questions.

What is your opinion about the incident where a Rutgers' student jumped off the George Washington bridge after his roommate secretly videotaped him engaging in sodomy with another man? Do you think his roommate should be charged with manslaughter or is the media and the Governor of New Jersey Chris Christie overreacting due to the jumping Rutgers' student being homosexual?
