The banding together by the nations of the world against Israel is the guarantee that their time of destruction is near and the final redemption of the Jew at hand.

It would be humorous if it was not true... I cannot laugh at how incredibly stupid Jews appear to behave. There is absolutely no reason Israel should release thousands of terrorists in return for one man. The price for his release is too high. My solution would be to utterly destroy all known Hamas outposts and take no prisoners. If they cannot return Gilad after that, then entire gaza strip should be carpet bombed into oblivion.

You shall make yourself the Festival of Sukkoth for seven days, when you gather in [the produce] from your threshing floor and your vat.And you shall rejoice in your Festival-you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow, who are within your cities

My feeling all along has been that the Israeli's should have given the arabs a horrible ultimatum; that is, if Gilad wasn't returned after a short period of time (say, 5 hours), then the Israeli's would have done something very unkind to the arabs.  For example, they could have bulldozed houses down and they could "rationalize" it by saying that they were looking for Gilad.

Of course, my idea has holes in it.  Because then the arabs could have said, "If you bulldoze one more house down, then we'll kill Gilad."

If the Jews weren't a decent people, then, of course, the whole arab problem would have been solved a long time ago.  And this unfortunately is why, when it comes to Gilad, the arabs have the upper hand even though they are weaker.

I have said before and will say again that this will continue until average Israelis decide to value their own lives above those of Nazi Amalek.
