Can civilization ever get a foot-hold in Africa again, and if so, how would this work? The days of imperial colonialism are obviously over. The African "nations" have been left to their own devices and the result has almost uniformly been extremely bad. How can European-based civilization, including modern forms of agriculture, medicine and economics, start to re-take sub-Saharan Africa as in the days of Rhodesia - when the whole world today is so overwhelmingly pro-third-world? I truly believe the people of Africa can be helped, but only by colonialism as opposed to just giving them money. How can an effort be made to do this?
