(Dec. -- A 21-year-old Baltimore man who had recently converted to Islam has been arrested on suspicion of plotting to bomb a Maryland military recruitment center, authorities said.

Antonio Martinez, also known as Muhammad Hussein, was charged with the attempted use of a weapon of mass destruction and the attempted murder of federal officials. He appeared today in federal court and was ordered held without bail until a hearing set for Monday.
