Palest-ine Doesn't Exist, Says PLO
Zan:
"The Palestin-ian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestin-ian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestin-ians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestin-ian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct 'Palestin-ian people' to oppose Zionism.
"For tactical reasons, Jordan, which is a sovereign state with defined borders, cannot raise claims to Haifa and Jaffa. While as a Palestin-ian, I can undoubtedly demand Haifa, Jaffa, Beer-Sheva and Jerusalem. However, the moment we reclaim our right to all of Palest-ine, we will not wait even a minute to unite Palest-ine and Jordan."
--Zahir Muhsein, PLO executive committee member, March 31, 1977, interview in Dutch newspaper Trouw
Hail Columbia:
Straight from the camel's mouth, as it would be said.
The hawk strikes again:

Yasser Arafat said that too after the infamous Oslo accords were signed.
The land in which Israel resides today, is considerd a general part of: "Bilad el Sham" which means: greater Syria.
Since this strip of land was a part of the Damascus province in the Ottoman empire.
ftf:
"greater Syria" Sounds a bit like "greater germany" to me.

Precisely, and there is another thing, the "Ba'athist" party (the syrian ruling party) is realy called: "The Pan-Arabic National Socialist Party", a fact which makes one wonder: "Kids, can you tell me, what other party in human history, was called the "National-Socialist Party" ?(Hint: NAZIS).
