US WANTS Egypt to attack Israel!
« on: December 29, 2010, 05:07:08 PM »

STATE DEPARTMENT SEEKS TO PROVOKE EGYPT TO ATTACK ISRAEL? BY EVE WINEGLASS,
A cable from the US Ambassador in Egypt to the US State Department revealed by Wikileaks this week reveals at best incompetence, at worst a vicious plot to destroy Israel.

In a confidential memo dated December 21, 2008, US Ambassador to Egypt Margaret Scobey complains that a Minister in the Egyptian government is a “Chief impediment in the face of US efforts to transform the Egyptian’s military mission to meet emerging security threats”.

The only “threat” Egypt faces is…Israel.  Adjacent Libya does not have a military force of substance (though they are quite good at Terrorism).  Who else is an “emerging security threat”?  Adjacent Sudan?  Nearby Chad?  Iran is some 4,000 miles and several countries away.

The US has built the Egyptian military into an unwieldy colossus that threatens the stability of the “moderate” Mubarak regime.  America has pumped vast sums – more than $70 Billion American taxpayers’ dollars of the latest US military equipment – tanks, planes and missiles into Egypt.  Everything that will encourage Egypt to start a war with Israel.

According to another memo from Ambassador Scobey dated September 23, 2008 President Mubarak of Egypt “may well be trying to weaken the military” – built up to unwieldy proportions by US diplomats, to insure that Mubarak’s successor will be his “moderate” son – a former banker.  An Army several orders of magnitude bigger than anything Egypt could use threatens the civilian leadership of Egypt, and the Egyptians seem to know it.

Of course, the prospects that Egypt will be taken over the radical Muslim Brotherhood is not at all unlikely.   What do you imagine this radical Islamic group will then do with the vast military colossus that the US has built up over the years?

What “role” is Egypt being groomed for?  The target in sight is Israel.  Why on earth would American diplomats want to encourage Egypt to start a war with Israel?  Particularly in light of the damage that will accrue to both countries?

The nefarious answer can be found in the US State Department doctrine as formed by Henry Kissinger.  The historical record strongly indicates (awaiting confirmation from Wikileaks) that Kissinger encouraged President Sadat of Egypt to mount a secret attack on October 6, 1973 – Yom Kippur, declaring war on Israel.  Kissinger then sought to delay American resupply of weapons, ammunition and spare parts to Israel.  Kissinger is on record having said he wanted “Israel to be ‘bloodied’ so they would be more receptive to Kissinger’s grandiose Machiavellian “peace plans”.  It is known that in the early days of the 1973 “Yom Kippur” war, Secretary of State Kissinger told Defense Secretary James Schlesinger “the best result would be that Israel would come out a “little” ahead but get “bloodied in the process”.

Israel lost thousands of lives and subsequently surrendered the strategic buffer zone of the Sinai Peninsula – in exchange for a “cold peace” with an Egypt that has been rearming itself to the teeth.

(The fact that Kissinger is ‘genetically’ Jewish is irrelevant.  The interesting psychological phenomenon of “self-hating” Jews is well-known.  These sorts of Jews are so traumatized by anti-Semitism that they actually become anti-Semitic themselves – known psychologically as “identification with the aggressor”.  These Jews can turn on their own people in a most vicious, sometimes lethal manner.  The recently released batch of tapes from the Nixon White House, as reported by the New York Times, report Henry Kissinger – an erstwhile Jew saying:  “If they put Jews into gas chambers in the Soviet Union, it is not an American concern”.  A classic case of self-hate.)

Apparently the US State Department, with its well known pro-Arab/Muslim, anti-Israel leanings, very much liked this idea of Israel getting “bloodied”.  They may try to explain it as some kind of warped diplomacy – but is just vicious Jew-hatred in another guise.

Other officials can also join in Jew-hatred.  Why do you think Secretary of Defense Caspar Weinberger was so upset with Jonathan Pollard when Pollard let the Israelis know that Iraq was planning on hitting them with poison gas?  Weinberger also wanted Israel to get “bloodied” (or gassed in this case).  On the first night of the 1991 Iraq War, Desert Storm, Saddam Hussein bombed Israel with SCUD missiles and the Israelis sat with their children in plastic-sealed rooms with gas masks.  At 3:59 AM Caspar Weinberger was interviewed on Israeli radio saying:  “What a shame that Saddam is bombing Israel with nerve gas.”  How did he know Saddam had SCUDs with poison gas?

Now we see that the US is trying to set up a situation where Egypt attacks Israel.  How many would die on both sides?  10,000?  100,000?  The diplomats don’t really care.  Nor do they care if the Muslim Brotherhood takes over in Egypt.  Imagine how bad that would be for US global interests.  A huge Muslim/Arab country with a massive US built military goes over to radical Islam.  Iran would seem mild by comparison.  Yet, the diplomats behave as if they don’t care!  They want to be free to connive their megalomaniacal plans and they still want to see Israel “bloodied”.

The people of the US, led by the American Congress should join with the Egyptians and Israelis to thwart this malevolent scheme.  Egypt’s military should be pared down to only what it really needs for defense.  Why hasn’t the annual $2Billion worth of needless military aid to Egypt been converted into civilian food aid so that Egypt stays stable, particularly in light of the devastating food riots they have experienced?  Because these US diplomats still want Egypt to attack Israel – no matter how much damage Egypt will cause Israel and incur by Israel’s retaliatory defense.   These diplomats are reckless despite the damage to America’s interests.

Clearly in the context of the cable, "the security threat" is Hamas in Gaza and its terrorist allies in the Sinai.

One of the signs of a pending Messianic Era is an Egyptian civil war:

"The burden against Egypt. Behold, the Lord rides on a swift cloud, and will come into Egypt; the idols of Egypt will totter at His presence, and the heart of Egypt will melt in its midst. “I will set Egyptians against Egyptians; everyone will fight against his brother, and everyone against his neighbor, city against city, kingdom against kingdom. The spirit of Egypt will fail in its midst; I will destroy their counsel, and they will consult the idols and the charmers, the mediums and the sorcerers. And the Egyptians I will give into the hand of a cruel master, and a fierce king will rule over them,” says the Lord, the Lord of hosts." (Isaiah 19)

followed by Egypt joining Gog and Magog to attack Israel:

"This is the plague with which the LORD will strike all the nations that fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh will rot while they are still standing on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths. On that day people will be stricken by the LORD with great panic. They will seize each other by the hand and attack one another. 14 Judah too will fight at Jerusalem. The wealth of all the surrounding nations will be collected—great quantities of gold and silver and clothing.  A similar plague will strike the horses and mules, the camels and donkeys, and all the animals in those camps. Then the survivors from all the nations that have attacked Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, the LORD Almighty, and to celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles. If any of the peoples of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD Almighty, they will have no rain.  If the Egyptian people do not go up and take part, they will have no rain. The LORD will bring on them the plague he inflicts on the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles. This will be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles." (Zechariah 14)

Um, the terrorists WITHIN EGYPT.  The Moslem Brotherhood is gaining strength and popularity.  That really is the biggest threat to the current Egyptian dictatorship.

This person's interpretation makes no sense.

Where does the historical record even slightly indicate that?!   Awaiting "confirmation" from Wikileaks?  What does that mean?   First of all, to confirm something means it had to be stated somewhere else first.  And this has not been demonstrated by anyone, to my knowledge.   Secondly, how does one "await" the contents of a secret leak which no one knows about until it's leaked?     This lady puts barry chamish to shame with her paranoia and invented facts.

"Until the most recent release of the Nixon/Kissinger tapes, what were
the permitted justifications for saying in advance that the slaughter
of Jews in gas chambers by a hostile foreign dictatorship would not
be "an American
concern"? Let's agree that we do not know. It didn't seem all that
probable that the question would come up. Or, at least, not all that
likely that the statement would turn out to have been made, and
calmly received, in the Oval Office. I was present at Madison Square
Garden in 1985 when Louis Farrakhan warned the Jews to remember that
"when [God] puts you in the ovens, you're there forever," but
condemnation was swift and universal, and, in any case, Farrakhan's
tenure in the demented fringe was already a given.

Now, however, it seems we do know the excuses and the
rationalizations. Here's one, from David Harris of the American
Jewish Committee: "Perhaps Kissinger felt that, as a Jew, he had to
go the extra mile to prove to the
president that there was no question of where his loyalties lay." And
here's another, from Abraham Foxman of the Anti-Defamation League:
"The anti-Jewish prejudice which permeated the Nixon presidency and
White House undoubtedly created an environment of intimidation for
those who did not share the president's bigotry. Dr. Kissinger was
clearly not immune to that intimidation." Want more? Under the
heading, "A Defense of Kissinger, From Prominent Jews," Mortimer
Zuckerman, Kenneth Bialkin, and James Tisch wrote to the New York
Times to say that "Mr. Kissinger consistently played a constructive
role vis-a-vis Israel both as national security adviser and secretary
of state, especially when the United States extended dramatic
assistance to Israel during the 1973 Yom Kippur War." They asked that
"the fuller Kissinger record should be remembered" and, for good
measure, that "the critics of Mr. Kissinger should remember the
context of his entire life." Finally, Kissinger himself has favored
us with the following: At that time in 1973, he reminds us, the Nixon
administration was being pressed by Sens. Jacob Javits and Henry
Jackson to link Soviet trade privileges to emigration rights for
Russian Jews. "The conversation at issue arose not as a policy
statement by me but in response to a request by the president that I
should appeal to Sens. Javits and Jackson and explain why we thought
their approach unwise."

But Kissinger didn't say something cold and Metternichian to the
effect that Jewish interest should come second to dÈtente. He
deliberately said gas chambers! If we are going to lower our whole
standard of condemnation for such talk (and it seems that we have
somehow agreed to do so), then it cannot and must not be in response
to contemptible pseudo-reasonings like these.

Let us take the statements in order. Harris and Foxman at least
assume what we know for many other reasons to be true: Richard Nixon
was a psychopathic anti-Semite. Is Kissinger so base as to accept
their defense that he was cringing before a Jew-baiter? Surely this,
too, is "hurtful" to him (the revealing term he employs for reading
criticism of his words rather than for their utterance)? He declines
even to discuss the subject, though it has come up on countless
previous Nixon tapes. The difference on this occasion is stark: The
other recordings have Nixon giving vent to his dirty obsession while
Kissinger makes fawning responses. This time, it is Kissinger who
goes as far as any pick-nose anti-Semite can go. And Nixon doesn't
bother to grunt his approval. Not even he demanded so much of his
eager toady. Of the Zuckerman-Bialkin-Tisch school of realpolitik,
nothing much needs to be said. They refer to the "shock and dismay of
some in the Jewish community", as if only that community was entitled
to shock or dismay, while quite omitting even the usual formality of
expressing any disapproval of their own. To them, pre-approval of
genocide, offered freely to a racist crook, is forgivable if the
speaker is otherwise more or less uncritically pro-Israel. Add to
this the other excuses of Jewish officialdom, that the pre-approval
is also excusable when used to appease the evil mood swings of a
criminal president, and you have the thesaurus of apologetics more or
less complete. Kissinger's own defense, that pre-approval of gas
chambers was his thinking-aloud dress rehearsal for an "appeal to
Sens. Javits and Jackson", is of course unique to him.

So our culture has once again suffered a degradation by the need to
explain away the career of this disgusting individual. And what if we
did, indeed, accept the invitation to "remember the context of his
entire life"? Here's
what we would find: the secret and illegal bombing of Indochina,
explicitly timed and prolonged to suit the career prospects of Nixon
and Kissinger. The pair's open support for the Pakistani army's 1971
genocide in Bangladesh, of the architect of which, Gen. Yahya Khan,
Kissinger was able to say: "Yahya hasn't had so much fun since the
last Hindu massacre." Kissinger's long and warm personal relationship
with the managers of other human abattoirs in Chile and Argentina, as
well as his role in bringing them to power by the covert use of
violence. The support and permission for the mass murder in East
Timor, again personally guaranteed by Kissinger to his Indonesian
clients. His public endorsement of the Chinese Communist Party's
sanguinary
decision to clear Tiananmen Square in 1989. His advice to President
Gerald Ford to refuse Alexander Solzhenitsyn an invitation to the
White House (another favor, as with spitting on Soviet Jewry, to his
friend Leonid Brezhnev). His decision to allow Saddam Hussein to
slaughter the Kurds after promising them American support. His
backing for a fascist coup in Cyprus in 1974 and then his defense of
the brutal Turkish invasion of the island. His advice to the
Israelis, at the beginning of the first intifada, to throw the press
out of the West Bank and go for all-out repression. His view that
ethnic cleansing in former Yugoslavia was something about which
nothing could be done. Forget the criminal aspect here (or forget it
if you can). All those policies were also political and diplomatic
disasters.

We possess a remarkably complete record of all this, in and out of
office, most of it based solidly on U.S. government documents. (The
gloating over Bangladesh comes from July 19, 1971.) And it's horribly
interesting to note how often the cables and minutes show him
displaying a definite relish for the business of murder and
dictatorship, a heavy and nasty jokiness (foreign policy is not "a
missionary activity") that was by no means always directed, bad as
that would have been, at gratifying his diseased and disordered boss.
Every time American career diplomats in the field became sickened at
the policy, which was not seldom, Kissinger was there to shower them
with contempt or to have them silenced. The gas-chamber counselor is
consistent with every other version of him that we have.

To permit this gross new revelation to fade, or be forgiven, would be
to devalue our most essential standard of what constitutes the
unpardonable. And for what? For the reputation of a man who turns out
to be not even a
Holocaust denier but a Holocaust affirmer. There has to be a moral
limit, and either this has to be it or we must cease pretending to
ourselves that we observe one".

America wants to destroy Israel period.

Obama and Carter's buttboy Zbiginew Brezinski openly advocated that Israel be invaded if she fails to agree to national suicide.
