Born to a Jewish father and non-Jewish mother, Rep. Giffords associated herself with the Reform Jewish faith.

American media reported that Loughner was described as bizarre by students at a community college, from where he recently was kicked out. The U.S. Army rejected him for reasons that are not known, due to the American privacy law. He also has been arrested for possession of drug-related material.

Among his favorite books was Mein Kampf, and he once said he does not believe in G-d. A U.S. Department of Homeland Security memo obtained by Fox News noted that Giffords has referred in web site postings to the American Renaissance group, an extremist anti-immigrant group.

"The group's ideology is anti-government, anti-immigration, anti-ZOG (Zionist Occupational Government), anti-Semitic," according to the memo, which pointed out that Giffords was the first Jewish congresswoman from Arizona.


Her paternal grandfather was a rabbi, but the fact that her mother was not Jewish defines her as a non-Jew according to Jewish law. Giffords has defined herself as a Jew under non-traditional theology, which also recognizes a Jew through Jewish paternity alone.

Jew-haters don't care if someone is Jewish by their mother or father. They care if someone has Jewish blood at all. Nazis put all in the same category and don't care.

So just because she wasn't technically Jewish doesn't mean that it wasn't an anti-Semitic attack.

The American Renaissance group never refers to ZOG or anything like that it's not a group i would join but they do have Jewish members including Rabbi Schiller from Yeshiva University again someone i don't agree with

She was associated with Reform which would make her 100% Jewish according to most non-Jews and many liberal Jews, regardless of the fact that she doesn't fit the definition by halacha. Anti-Semites don't believe in halacha anyway. I do believe it was an anti-Semitic attack and should be taken just as seriously in that way as if it were done on someone who was technically Jewish.

The fact that one of Jared Loughner FAVORITE books is Mein Kampf signifies that he is Nazi and has been exposed to way Nazis classify whether someone is Jewish, from their evil perspective.

One very important reason to stress tha Giffords is not a Jew is that Israel these days is being flooded with Gentiles,who are considered "jewish" by Israeli immigration laws. These immigration laws are emotionally based on the Nazi Nuremberg laws which defined someone as Jewish if he had a Jewish grandfather, without regard to halacha.

The time has come that at least the true Jewish right starts to educate the world that a Jew is a Jew according to the standards of halacha and not according to the standards of anti-semites or not because some Gentile proclaims that he has some ethnic or cultural affiliation with Judaism.

So if a Christian member of Jews for Jeersus is attacked, you would also consider this an attack against Jews?
Or what about the Mormons. They believe they as well as the Jewish people are part of the 12 tribes of Israel.
So if some Nazi lunatic, believes the Mormons claims and starts attacking them, this is an attack against Jews?

Basically, if the murderer says, "I tried to kill that person because I thought he/she was Jewish" even if it were a Muslim who looked Jewish, it would be an anti-semetic attack.

And if someone killed a Jew who looked Muslim because he thought he was a Muslim, it would be an anti-Muslim attack.

I see, so a guy who's mom is a jew is obsessed with killing a lady who's dad is a jew.  Makes perfect sense.

It depends on the motivation of the killer, not the status of the victim.
