What can you say about it.... It is obvious that Hollywood and the Television media have been exploiting the youth. I have said many times it does not surprise me that this is the case. The fact is obvious that these people are bad influences, yet they are idolized by the media culture. Do you ask why? I believe the answer is found in the old adage which still works today, "Sex sells". And this adage has been modified in todays sordid culture to be "Salacious sex sells" and "Forbidden sex sells".
Why are humans so attracted to the base pleasures, the animal pleasures? The Jewish sages have a reason for the reasons humans act like this. We all possess the animal soul. The 'evil inclination' of man is what possess us to do things which are against Hashem and indulgent in forbidden pleasures.
The current atheistic attitude of youth today leads them to believe that there is not a consequence for their acting on these impure impulses. Some of them are ignorant, and others are rebellious. Those who lead others astray are guilty for all those who followed their bad example. This is why celebrities are judged so harshly, because their images are sold to young people.
Let us hope that more celebrities wake up to the truth, that they are living lies and deceiving the world. Some celebrities have been able to get out before they are destroyed, but so many of them end up sad stories...
