Ask JTF for Sunday, April 17, 2011
« on: April 09, 2011, 08:39:50 PM »
Dear Chaim, three questions for this week's Ask JTF

1. Have you ever been to Houston, Texas in your lifetime? What are your thoughts on the city? Would you believe Houston is an example of where America is headed for a non-white majority?

2. What is the real reason why gas prices are so high?

3. Are you aware of what happened when in Belarus? Do you think Muslims are behind the terrorist attack there? Here is a link below

Dear Chaim

(1)   I was driving on the BQE last Monday. I was driving along minding my own business and then I saw a dump truck that had the following stenciled in black paint on the rear:  “Allah Forever.”  I then attempted to pass this truck and saw Insha'Allah Inc. boldly stenciled on the side of the cab of the Truck.   This country is in bigger trouble than I ever thought.  Your comments please.

(2) Prior to the coming of Moshiach, can you ever see circumstances where Israel willingly relinquishes its nuclear weapons?  I believe that as long as the Arabs / Muslim and other jew hating countries exist, Israel must retain its nuclear deterrence in order to maintain some level of confidence that she could wipe out its enemies.

(3) I find Pesach to be a very happy time of the year but I then remember all of the blood libels against Jewish communities in Europe and the Middle East.  Please comment.

All the best,

Nekama

1. Everyone knows who joshua is.  However, not many people really say much about calev ben yefuneh.  Can you tell us about him after the israelites conquered the canaanites? Why isn't he mentioned as much as joshua?

2. What made moses so humble? Who in modern day do consider to have a lot of humility? How can jtf activists imitate this humility and be effective in winning the hearts of righteous jews and gentiles?

3.  There is a time honored tradition at Persian sedars where we hit each other with scallions and leeks when we sing Diyanu.  What unique things does your family do at the pesach sedar?

4. Recently a Rabbi in the Old City asked a Muslim Imam a favor.  He asked the Imam to tell Arab Muslim bakery owners not to sell Chametz to Jews during Pesach.  In my opinion, this is pointless. Jews should never buy anything from Arabs and there is nothing preventing secular Israelis from buying extra Chametz to eat in their household.  Do you think what this Rabbi did was appropriate?  What are more practical things that can be done to keep Jews in Israel from eating or buying Chametz during Pesach?  Or do we just let it be and work on winning the hearts of secular Jews to keep Pesach, even if it takes longer for them to do the right thing?

And a dvar torah of this weeks parashah.

Chag sameach.

Greetings Chaim. I think it's wonderful that the ADL condemned JTF. To me that just shows that JTF is on the right track. What are some things you would like to say to ADL and similar organizations?

Shalom Chaim,

1.  Israel's Shefla Basin holds the world’s 2nd largest shale deposits outside the United States, from which around 250 billion barrels of oil – about the same as Saudi Arabia’s proven reserves, could be extractable. Israel is working on a new, cheaper, enviro-friendly method for tapping this abundance. This, along with the Leviathan and Tamar gas fields, and Her advances in wind and solar technology, will position Israel as an energy superpower and drastically change the political landscape. As you disapprove of oil, are you against Israel tapping into these massive reserves and so the wealth and political power that would come with it?

2.  I know many Jews who tell me that they cannot believe in G-d because of the Holocaust. As I don't want my Jewish brothers and sisters to be atheists, have you discovered a reply that gives such people pause, and encourages them to reconsider?

3.  It has been said that the only difference between socialism and Marxism is time. Do you agree with this? Do you consider Obama a socialist or Marxist, or neither?

4.  Should Mike Huckabee enter the race, what would you consider the misstep(s) he should make sure to avoid?

Chazak v'emahtz!

Shalom Shalom Chaim:

Below are excerpts from a paper I had to read aloud to an elective class I’m in; it was refuting the claims made by the radical left that the acquittal of the officers who beat that baboon R. King made killing, raping, and looting justified by citing the behavior of the savages on Rav Kahana’s jury and Rosenbaum’s jury. A pretty Cuban girl complemented me as did many other girls, except for a cucaracha:

“Two separate prominent cases of institutional anti-White and anti-Semitic jury-rigging are found in the murder of a controversial Rabbi and Australian Yeshiva student. On December 21, 1991, months before the Rodney King verdict, the murderer of Rav Meir Kahane, El Sayyid Nosair, was acquitted of murder by a Manhattan jury, a jury that even the defendant’s attorney described as “third-world.”  This verdict was in spite of the fact that Rav Kahane was shot only “moments after giving a speech at the Marriott East Side Hotel,”  and in spite of the fact that Nosair was simultaneously “convict[ed] of firing and possessing the murder weapon,” which was a result of the ensuing struggle to subdue Nosair just subsequent his shooting of the Rabbi.   Though Nosair would eventually be convicted for “plotting to blow up New York City landmarks,” his associates were convicted of the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center.

 […]

“Another case involving racial hate was the stabbing of Yankel Rosenbaum, an Australian Yeshiva student, during the Crown Heights Pogrom. The defendant, Lemrick Nelson Jr., was identified by Rosenbaum just before he breathed his last.  Additionally, the “murder weapon was in [Nelson’s] pocket” and detectives contend, “Nelson had confessed twice to different detectives.”  Nelson was acquitted in 1992 by a jury composed “of 5 men and 7 women, of which 6 [were] black, 4 Hispanic and 2 white.”  Following the acquittal, the jury felt it appropriate to attend a dinner with Nelson and his attorneys.  After being subsequently overturned in 2002 because “the trial judge had picked the jury improperly, setting the stage for the retrial in United States District Court,” a jury “made up of eight blacks, two whites, and two immigrants from Guyana” found Nelson only guilty of “violating the civil rights” of Rosenbaum.”  Despite this injustice, the Hasidic community in Crown Heights did not riot, loot, or kill.

[…]
“While doublethink is demanded regarding the guilt of the murderers of Nicole Brown, Rabbi Kahana, Yankel Rosenbaum, et al., the newspapers respond to the verdict acquitting the police in the Rodney King case by releasing the addresses of the jurors ; for what reason would they do this except to attempt to engender the murder of innocent jurors? Furthermore, the two examples of minority juries during this same time—one of which was before the King verdict—arriving at verdicts that were flagrantly removed from any notion of justice casts doubt upon the claims portraying the court system as an anti-black vehicle of oppression.”

Your comments, please.

PS: Those Jew-hating jurors should be electrocuted to death. AMEN!

Gd bless!

Dear Chaim,

A few questions for this week:

1) Do you believe that Arnold Schwarzenegger is, in fact, a Nazi? I remember you talking about an association he had with a former Nazi named Kurt Waldheim. Is this accurate?

2) As I've written before, the Japanese absolutely make me sick. I find them to be a dirty and depraved people. Do you share this sentiment? Was the tsunami payback for their actions during World War II?

3) Does Kate Middleton deserve a YS'V?

4) Who poses a bigger threat to the safety of America: arabs or homosexuals?

All my best,
RWG

Dear Chaim,

1) Where was Rav Kahane buried?

2) Have you ever been to a Major League Baseball game?

3) Have you ever heard that Jews aren't supposed to laugh hysterically because of the churban habayis? I was laughing very hard in shiur the other day and my Rebbe mentioned that rule to me.

4) What's your favorite kind of salad and dressing?

5) Other than salmon and tuna, what other kinds of fish would you recommend?

6) How long do your sedarim usually go? Are you usually full by the time the meal is served?

7) Have you ever leind a parasha on Shabbos?

8 What's your opinion of Breslov?

9) Do you wear tefilin during chol hamoed?

May you and your loved ones have a chag kasher v'sameach, and may we be zocheh to the geula and the rebuilding of the beis hamikdash b'mheira v'yameinu.

Shalom Chiam, The reason I ask many questions about the Serbs is because we have a difference of opinion on this issue Even though I try to look for other topics to talk about I do agree with you on most other issues though.

1. I Remember in Middle School when I was about 13 years old our class were watching a movie about the Holocaust and I remember thinking that the Allies had gained the upper hand over the German Air Force as early as February 1944 and that the Air Forces of the U.S. And Britain could've targeted the Rail ways of the Concentration Camps before large numbers of Jews arrived there. however did the Germans have the material to rebuild the Rail Lines if they have been Bombed?

2. Do you remember when General Pershing in 1911 told his soldiers in the Philippines to execute the Muslim Soldiers? Historians have said that that was that was a politically incorrect description of how America dealt with Muslim Insurgency.

3. Canada has 14% of the reserves of oil in the world do you think that along with some renewable energy resources can set the Oil Sheiks back?

4. Another question about the Black Hebros is that you said they consider Jews unlike them to be an imposter which is why they steal fruits and say "You is White Jew Imposter" How could they get away with things like this?

5. The Protests in Afghanistan have killed 14 UN Soldiers two of which were beheaded.

Shalom Chaim,

1.  I'm interested in your input on an organization called ' Seeds of Peace' ?

2.  Despite all of the massive baggage associated with Donald Trump,   he seems like the only nationally high profile person who is even coming close to speaking the truth about Barack Hussein Obama.    Including making Obama's birth certificate a prime issue.      Pastor Manning has been very critical of the so called Conservative Media,   including Bill O' Reilly,   Glenn Beck,   Rush Limbaugh, and Mark Levin for downplaying ( to various degrees ) the birth certificate issue.       Mitt Romney has already given me the strong impression that he's going to be running a John McCain type of politically correct campaign.

Basically,  my question is do you believe that Donald Trump, Pastor Manning,  and /  or anyone else can impact the 2012 Presidential Race in the manner necessary to defeat Barack Hussein Obama?     Basically forcing the emerging Republican Presidential Nominee and the "  Conservative " media to be much less politically correct against Obama.     If the answer is no and the economy is even in decent shape come the fall of 2012,     barring a miracle from G-d,     I have very little confidence that Obama will be defeated.

Thanks as always,   eb22.

Shalom Chaim.  Here is Tempe Brennan Fan's question for this week's show:

In honor of Middle Eastern History Month, all of my questions this week are about Bolshevik lies about Arab/Islamic history.

1: It is absurd that I even have to ask this but what is a good, secular historical (i.e. not from Judeo-Christian scriptures) that states that Jesus and all of his apostles but Luke were all Israelite Jews? Obviously this is ridiculous but what is a simple and solid way to shut up the Arab liars who claim that Jesus and his disciples (except Judas Iscariot, whose Jewishness they conveniently acknowledge) were all Fakestinians?

2: Please refute the pseudohistoric claim that Cleopatra was a noble and heroic Arab queen who was screwed over by the Jewish-dominated Roman Empire.

3: You mentioned a few months back that there were black leaders who claimed that the Arab nations were all black and that Israel was "fighting black people" when it was at war with Syria, Egypt, etc. Who exactly said this and what was the Arab response to being called black?

4: Please refute the claims that Arabs were the first humans to design boats and engage in transoceanic commerce.

G-d bless you,
TBF

Dear Chaim,
Until 1966 Israel kept the Arabs and Beduins under military rule, why would the Israeli government end this policy, which while not perfect, at least kept the Arabs living in Israel under some control?

Shalom brother Chaim.

Please give us a passover action story.

Became it is Passover I have 3 questions relating to this theme; if I may.

1. Does the torah mention anywhere the land of Israel is holy?

2.what torah source do people use to prove Israel is consecrated land?

3, If Israel is holy and G-d wants Jews to settle in Israel , why didn't Moshe use this argument in Numbers 32 when Ruben and Gad did not want to settle. The argument used by Moshe was that they nevertheless they need to fight with the other tribes.

Col ha Kavod
Chai

ps

Should we all get together like in the JTF meetings but to these locations in NYC for Israeli apartheid week like in the days of JDL ;no one seems to care but you and the JTF.

Shalom Chaim.    What type of Matzah do you have at your seder?

When you eat the "kezayit" portion of matzah after making the blessing on the eating of matzah at the seder, how big do you consider the kezayit to be?   Personally, I am aware that olives today are the same size as olives from thousands of years ago, and the proof is that there are living olive trees in the land of Israel which are literally 3 thousand years old and still produce olives which are the same size as today's olives we are used to seeing.  There are 3 basic sizes of olives for those indigenous to the land of Israel and area surrounding it.    All of these are way smaller than the massive amounts of matzah that my various hosts of the past few years' pesah seders have urged us to scarf down to satisfy the mitzvah requirements.  I really enjoy the seder but that is one thing that drives me nuts and takes away from the experience IMO and defeats the real purpose of the seder.  Have you encountered similar experiences with "huge kezayit mania" ?

Thanks
Wishing you an upcoming hagh Sameah

Shalom Chaim Ha Tzadik!

Who is the most evil member of the British royal family? Is it William or his wannabe Haupttruppführer brother, the swastika-sporting Harry?

How did you react when you found out about Princess Diana's death? Do you think she and Doodi al Fayed are together now?

Should we celebrate when members of royal family die?

Is it true that Idiot Amin used to cook and eat his political opponents?

During Chag haPesach, do you eat "Gebrochts"?

Chag Sameach Chaim ha Tzadik,

PS I would love your commentary on the following NYNT article:

Do you have an opinion of the late Milton Friedman.  As far as I know he was a traditional but non Orthodox Jew.  He was pro Israel and advised the Begin government on economic matters.
Clearly he spoke more about economics and liberty than religion.  I never heard him phrase the answer to a question in religious terms.  He was also fairly Libertarian.  I read his columns in Newsweek and his book Free to Choose.  I cannot think of any writing that had more influence on my way of thinking.
We all need to pray for Barack Obama, may the Lord provide him a safe move back to Chicago in January 2,013.
