Israel should learn from the U.S. how to kill enemies
« on: May 02, 2011, 03:00:32 PM »
You think any soldier in the Bin Laden raid yesterday thought twice about NOT shooting the women shielding Bin Laden? You think any of the soldiers were willing to risk their own lives for anybody in that house? Until Israel learns how to kill its enemies without sacrificing its own soldiers it'll continue to be plagued by Muslim terror.

Actually when it comes to killing terrorist leaders Israel pretty much wrote the manual. Including assassinations with collateral damage- see for example the 1992 elimination of Abbas Musawi (then leader of Hezbullah)- he was blown out by missiles in his car along with his wife and their son.

Yes, there are exceptions, but for the most part Israel exercises suicidal war ethics. How many times have we heard that they didn't fire on a school even though rockets were being fired out of there killing Israelis? How many times have we heard that Israeli soldiers CANNOT fire on enemies EVEN IF THEY ARE BEING SHOT at, if civilians will be killed? They can get into serious trouble. Would anybody on this forum risk his/her life or the life of a family member in order to save a few Muslims and NOT kill the shooter in the process?

Only in the very rare cases of eliminating top terrorists does Israel (sometimes) allows herself some flexibility. That is what I meant to say on my first post as well.

I am proud of the Navy Seals who are terrific Marksmen.   There was no chance that Bin Laden would get away this time. Maybe the same seals that took out the Samoli Pirates.
