Future JTF Meetings in NYC
« on: July 01, 2011, 07:26:25 PM »
Hey everyone,

Since we have a lot of work to do with the U.S. election coming up, and the situation in Israel, what do you guys think of having the meetings once a month, say for example, the second Tuesday of each month?  I'll send invitations via private messages.  Of course if the second Tuesday of the month falls on a Jewish holiday, I'll suggest an alternate date.

What do you all think?

A quick check of my hebrew calender shows a conflict in the month of August .... The second Tuesday of August happens to be Tish B'Av...  Other than that it seems clear...

Also in 2012 the Second Tuesday of April falls on Pesach IV...  And in October 2012 we have Simchat Torah on the 2nd Tuesday... December 2012 Channukah IV falls on the 2nd Tuesday...

You shall make yourself the Festival of Sukkoth for seven days, when you gather in [the produce] from your threshing floor and your vat.And you shall rejoice in your Festival-you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow, who are within your cities
