I love Rabbi Shafier and have supported his Shmuz series and other of his Torah projects. His emphasis on Emunah and Bitachon help guide my Faith and Trust in Hashem.
These short (3-4min) talks on Tish B'av will help explain why a Jew should remember our history and the promise for the future.

You shall make yourself the Festival of Sukkoth for seven days, when you gather in [the produce] from your threshing floor and your vat.And you shall rejoice in your Festival-you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow, who are within your cities
Duet 16:13-14

Rabbi Shafier talks extensively on how important a Jew should work on his Emunah and Bitachon in order to hasten the coming of Moshiach and to elevate our souls.
