Unemployment
« on: March 09, 2012, 06:33:53 PM »
The government employment report came out and over 200,000 jobs were created but unemployment stayed UNCHANGED at 8.3%
Shouldn't the unemployment rate have gone down?
The liberal news media is amazing.

Its all nonsense.  Gallup has the unemployment at 9.1% which STILL doesnt not take into effect those who have stopped looking and those who are underemployed.

The truth is, a HUGE RECORD number of people have totally left the job hunt after their benefits stopped.  Many are now on SSI for mental dissabillity, many have taken early retirement, and many have just given up.

When this happens, the percentage of people unemployed actually goes DOWN, because unemployment only counts those actively SEEKING employment.
