Parties that banned Kach?
« on: April 24, 2012, 09:46:20 PM »
Where to find out who participated and what and how they voted?
4 They that forsake the law praise the wicked; but such as keep the law contend with them.

5 Evil men understand not justice; but they that seek the LORD understand all things.

Probably it would be easier to search that in Hebrew.

There is an election committee in Israel composed of representatives of all the parties in the Knesset
( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israeli_Central_Elections_Committee) and chaired by a supreme court judge. I think they unanimously voted to ban Kach in 1988, including the "right wing" parties HaLikud, HaMafdal, and HaTchiyah. The committee also banned an Arab Nazi party that offcially proclaimed it wants to eliminate Israel. Both parties then appealed to the supreme court, which upheld the ban on Kach but overturned the ban on the nazi party.
