More than a few Republicans also despise Israel, but feel she is indispensible as an advanced positioning military arsenal & base for the procurement of Middle Eastern Oil.  Of ever diminishing importance to either party is the so-called "Jewish Vote"; within another 5 years the "Jewish Vote" will be completely insignificant when compared to the Muslim population, the Mexican population, and the Asian populations.

Maybe white folks & Jews should look for a nice banana republic to invade, take over, colonize, and restore Constitutional Rule.

Many gentiles regard Jews as a separate ethnic group, regardless
of their actual race.  So long as nobody knows you're Jewish, you
will fall under the usual categories of Caucasian, African, Latino,
etc., but once it is known that you are Jewish, you will be viewed
as Jewish, regardless of how much you insist on continuing to
be viewed as a member of any of the aforementioned racial
groups.  Your ethnicity as a Jew will overshadow your race.

Gentiles are a majority of the world's population.  They don't need my support.
Jews, however, do need my support.

"Divestment and a free West Bank" is a euphemism for Israeli national suicide,
so of course I don't regard favorably gentiles who support it.

By the way, there is no "West Bank."  There is Judea, Samaria and East
Jerusalem.  The use of the term "West Bank" is part of a general effort
on the part of Western media and Muslim apologists to de-Jewify Jewish
land.

Dang, my head is starting to hurt.  Many gentiles do think of Jews as a separate group. We here know better.  west bank is where I use my ATM card, Gaza is what I use when I have a cut, and Golan heights is what I use when I want to bomb Syrians...  ok these were a stretch....

The other side of the coin accounts for that faction of western Jews who consider themselves white out of their obsession to assimilate.  Their Jewish identity of an assimilated Jew is only secondary to their overall self-identity, as being "white" and or perhaps secularism have .  At what point does the desire to assimilate become priority over the need for preservation?

I am reminded of the recent quotes by author A. B. Yehoshua -- "Judaism cannot exist outside Israel. Those who do not live in Israel and do not participate in the daily decisions that are made there and that are entirely Jewish, do not have a Jewish identity of any significance." 

It is in this regard that he believes that Zionism has replaced Judaism as the vehicle which would unite the determination of all Jewish people.
