Are there still Anglicans and Calvinists?
« on: August 07, 2012, 09:20:56 PM »
I remember learning about both sects in US History. I was wondering if there were any who still practiced and what your thoughts were.

My thoughts are... they didn't go far enough! And they did not hold on too what they had!
Ezekiel 33:6 But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the horn, and the people be not warned, and the sword do come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity, but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.

Yes, althrough todays Presbyterians are not sharing the core Ideas of Calvin. The difference is similiar to  the difference between Judaism and Reformed Judaism.

The Presbyterians are now so far from Calvin he wouldn't know what they are.I think the Dutch Church is much closer to Calvin

All I know is that the Baptist church I used to go to described itself as being 5-point "TULIP" Calvinist.

Looking back on it all though, from the sermons and testimonies, it seemed more like a TUL church
