Video Study for Parasha Ki Tavo
muman613:
Shalom Everyone,
Today I am starting the Parasha study for this weeks Torah portion early. Today I sat in the WORST traffic ever and it took me double the time I normally drive {2 3/4 hours instead of 1 1/4 hours} and I was very exhausted by the time I got to work. I remember looking forward to when I got home so I could study some Torah. Well now I am home, and here we are studying some Torah.
This week we are are reading the portion called Ki Tavo. As we are approaching the end of the Torah {the Chumash/Five books} and the Yomim Noraim/Days of Awe the portions are getting very spectacular. Moses is giving the Jewish people the strength and the will to enter the land, he teaches them of blessings and curses.
This portion includes the second rebuke of the people, explaining all the terrible things which will befall us {and many of these curses already have occurred to us}.
