The photographs below were taken by an anonymous Arutz Sheva reader who witnessed a strange scene on the Gaza perimeter recently. They show an Israel Electric Company (IEC) employee hoisted on a crane in order to fix a malfunction that denied electricity to Gaza City.

The operation, which of course is carried out by Israel for the benefit of Gazans, has to be carried out with military protection, because Gaza terrorists regularly target Israelis on the perimeter fence, including those they know are trying to assist them by fixing infrastructure or letting in goods. Numerous Israelis have been killed and wounded in precisely this way since 2000.

Soldiers therefore fan out around the electrical pole where the fixing needs to be carried out. The IEC workers are briefed and they put on helmets and flak jackets. To top it all off, a large metal wall is hoisted into the air by a crane in order to protect the IEC worker as he supplies power to Gazans, including the very people who will shoot him dead if they get a clean shot.

Seven years ago, the IDF was  ordered to flee Gaza,after expelling all the Jews who lived in the Strip from their homes. Then, the border was 'shut' (except for 'Palestinians' being treated for free in Israeli hospitals), and the rockets started flying into Israel.

Despite the fact that it has now been more than seven years since Israel left Gaza, Israel continues to supply a significant portion of Gaza's electricity. No, the bills generally are not paid.

Sometimes, rockets fired from Gaza hit the electric wires and leave the poor 'Palestinians' without  power. When that happens, believe it or not, the Israel Electric Company sends employees up to fix the wires. Yes, even while the shooting continues. After all, the Hamas rocket factories need to have power.

The picture at the top shows two Electric Company employees being raised to the level to repair wires. The employees are in steel cages to protect them from oncoming rockets. It's not clear to me what protects the drivers who pulled their trucks with the cranes on the back up to the spot.

The same (just substitute conservatives for Jews, oBumma supporter for Arab, wealthy conservative for Haredi) is going on in the US... We are paying (literally via high taxes) for our destruction and told it is patriotic to do so. We are told that if we object we are racist, selfish, and to a certain extent a terrorist.... DHS says you are a potential terrorist if you believe the Constitution and/or believe that God is the ultimate power and not government. The concept of limited government is actually viewed as a mental disorder..."why, if you don't agree that these government programs are the best way to go, you must be mentally unstable".... All of this sounds outlandish but I can cite very specific cases that totally support my claims. To claim that an able bodied minority or liberal should at least try to support themselves is now considered hate, racist, insensitive...... Liberals think anyone successful attained their good fortune by luck, as a result of some government program, cheated someone or stole it. Ironically, wealthy liberals are looked at as heroes no matter how they attained their fortune..... they are even more lauded if it was attained by theft, lies, cheating, trickery, illegally, etc. The whole world seems to be turned upside down where honesty, hard work, character, truth and logic is no longer valid. The respectable is no longer respected, honesty is now laughed at and ridiculed, hard work is discouraged....

Gaza and Lebanon are both parts of Biblical Eretz Yisrael, which are forbidden under Jewish Law to cede, and the Lubavitcher Rebbe warned that if Israel did so, she would be repeatedly compelled to unwillingly reconquer them again and again!
