I'm just curious as to what exactly Schneier is a "rabbi" of. Is he positive that he's not actually a high priest in LaVey's Church of Satan? Sometimes, I wonder...

He is rabbi of the Park East Synagogue directly across the street from the Russian Mission to the UN.
He is also a distant cousin of the Lubavitcher Rebbe,ZT"L,ZY"A unfortunately.

The only function Marc plays is to reassure sick jews that a "pal-Piss-tinian" state will bring lasting piss, it's ok to eat pork, and it's perfectly normal to be a queer.

His father "Rabbi" Arthur Schneier is the rabbi of the Park East Synagogue on the Upper East Side.  This is a man who called the police on Chaim and the JDL when they attempted to use that Synagogue to heckle and protest the Soviet diplomats at their consulate across the street. 

The son, "Rabbi" Marc Schnier (notice the fruity spelling) has been divorced several times, and has cheated on one of his wives with a member of the Park East Synagogue. 

Oh, and let's not forget the fact that after the Crown Heights pogrom, the elder Schneier started a group called Orthodox Rabbis for Mayor Dinkins.
