Over the years I have come and gone (never as a result of anyone here... personal and life events) from this forum.... always I am drawn back. I very much love and respect 99% of everyone here. Keeping the aforementioned in mind, I have a question.... since I value the opinions expressed here, and since this is a group of intelligent and respectful people, I would like to be able to discuss things such as technical (computer, home theater, networking, etc.), day to day events and issues, advice on how to handle or approach situations, relationship advice, medical and scientific issues, personal issues, my dogs, etc.... Is there a place to do that with the people here? I know there are places to discuss these things elsewhere but I generally have distrust and great disdain for the typical moron on the typical forum.

P.S. The last line sounds like part of a suicide note..... sorry, it is not, nor is it a goodbye of any sort.... just kind of sounds weird.

Something I saw on facebook that made me laugh:

Schrodinger and Heisenberg are driving down the motorway when a cop pulls them over. He walks up to the window and asks "Sir, do you know how fast you were going?" Heisenberg replies "No, but I know exactly where I was." The cop, thinking such a weird response deserves further investigation, tells Heisenberg to open the boot of the car. He looks in and sees a dead cat. "Do you know there's a dead cat in here?!" he shouts. Schrodinger replies "Well, I do now!"

I know Jews are not alout to eat pig, but how think Jews about dogs for an example? I know that Muslims thibk that dogs are unpure and filty creaturs. I was just wondering, and i might learn something?

Jews aren't allowed to eat dogs either. Basically, the only mammals that Jews can eat are cow, sheep, goat, deer, gazelle.

I think the answer is yes to some and to some other religious Jews keeping pets is somewhat problematic but I do believe it is still permissible.
