Teacher gets 15 years for raping 4-year-old boy

Dubai: A Bangladeshi man has been jailed for 15 years after a court convicted him of raping a four-year-old boy while teaching him how to memorise the Quran.

The Dubai Court of First Instance convicted the defendant, 24-year-old H.M., although he pleaded not guilty and denied the accusations.

Prosecutors asked the court to implement the death sentence against H.M. as per Article 354 of the Penal Code.
The boy’s father testified that the incident happened two months after he agreed to the defendant teaching his son the Quran along with the neighbour’s son.

“The accused will be deported following the completion of his punishment,” said the presiding judge in courtroom three on Tuesday.

Records said the incident happened in a villa shared by four families in Al Hamriya.

“I agreed with H.M. to give my son Quran lessons once I learnt that he was teaching our neighbour’s son. He gave our children Quran lessons at the kitchen table after Maghrib prayer except over the weekend. I was in Bur Dubai when my wife told me over the phone that our son had been abused. She claimed that my son told her that the defendant exposed himself and did something bad to him. I rushed home and my son told me the same thing. My four-year-old said H.M. did something bad to him at the beginning of the lesson… then the defendant cleaned himself up and continued the lesson. My son claimed that when he asked the defendant to stop because what he did to him was painful… H.M. asked my son to keep silent. Our neighbour’s son confirmed that he saw the incident and described what happened,” claimed the father.

Records said the father and his brother-in-law lured the defendant to Abu Hail. The defendant tried to run away when he saw the boy’s father. Records said the father and his brother-in-law took H.M. in their car to their residence and called the police.

Meanwhile H.M. repeatedly apologised to the father and asked for forgiveness.

A Yemeni policeman claimed that the defendant was scared and apologised alleging that he was seduced by the devil.

Tuesday’s judgement remains subject to appeal within 15 days.

Four children among French family of seven kidnapped by Al Qaeda in Cameroon

A French family of seven - including four children - has been kidnapped by Al Qaeda in Cameroon today.

The family is believed to have been taken from northern Cameroon to Nigeria, where another group of foreign nationals were taken yesterday.

The seven foreigners, including one Briton, were abducted by a little-known extremist group on Monday, a French official said.

The abductions follow a French military mission in Mali to remove Islamic jihadists who had taken control of the north of the country.

Details of the kidnapping were not immediately clear, however, President Francois Hollande, speaking during a visit to Greece, noted that terrorists 'are not just in Mali.'

Kazakhstan Reveals ‘Allah Vodka’ Terror Plot

Vodka named after Allah was always sure to create a storm of controversy in mainly Muslim Kazakhstan – as it did last year, when bottles bearing Allah’s name went on sale in the eastern city of Semey.

Those bottles were produced in Aktobe on the other side of Kazakhstan, where it seems the country’s security services have recently uncovered a plot to blow up the offending factory.

On February 19 three young men – including a minor – were jailed by a court in the western city of Aktobe for plotting to plant explosives at a factory producing vodka with a label mentioning Allah, KTK TV reports.

Media reports did not name the plant at the center of the plot, but back in April last year a factory owned by Kazakhstan’s GEOM company (which makes liquor under the popular Wimpex brand) got into hot water for making vodka with a label showing an Arabic inscription reading “Allah’s strength is enough for everybody.”

The court found the three young men guilty of plotting to blow up the factory and sentenced 17-year-old Salamat Akhet to three years in prison and Nursultan Tenizbayev and Arslan Zhakabayev, both 18, to five years.

Akhet’s mother claimed her son was the victim of a stitch-up by the security services, which have been cracking down heavily on suspected extremists – particularly in western Kazakhstan – since a spate of terrorist attacks began in 2011.

The offending vodka has long since been withdrawn from sale with profuse apologies, the unfortunate incident blamed on a dopey designer. But like bad hangover, the aftereffects just seem to keep lingering.

Imam in court over loans for new mosque in Brentwood

AN imam is being sued for failing to return thousands of pounds to angry donors after plans for a new mosque in Brentwood fell through.

Miah Rahman allegedly promised to use the cash to build the Muslim temple because worshippers had to use a local community hall.

However, after the proposals were shelved two years later, they were left empty-handed, Central London County Court heard on Monday.

Formed as a result, the Brentwood and South East Cultural Association currently occupies a nondescript community hut owned by the Brentwood Army Cadets.

The members, mainly drawn from disaffected Muslims, still aspire to have their own place of worship.
Mr Rahman argues that the cash was intended as "gifts" for general work supporting Islam in and around the town, although a group of donors say they gave money on condition a mosque would be built.

Sidra Naeem, who was then working as a Sunday school teacher, told the hearing she helped collect more than £84,000 for the project.

A handful of people who filled out forms explicitly stating they were providing cash as loans totalling around £10,000 under Islamic law were later reimbursed – but others were left out of pocket.

"Most of these people who signed these forms didn't want the money back if the mosque materialised," she said, describing two big fundraising drives in 2005 and 2007.

"It's because the mosque didn't materialise that they wanted it back.

"It was a year later that we found out the mosque wasn't there. It was after that, when there was quite a big uproar in the community, that people started asking for their money back."

The court heard "probably hundreds" of others gave money in other ways without filling out the loan forms.
The court heard Mr Rahman began campaigning for a mosque in October 2005.

By the summer of 2007, a 1.4 acre site in Pilgrims Hatch had been found, but they were outbid at auction the following year.
Soon after, donors began demanding their money back.

Following a complaint by Dr Reshma Rasheed, a local GP who had given £1,500, police investigated both Mr Rahman and his colleague Mohammad Edoo on suspicion of fraud, but decided against a criminal prosecution.
Mrs Naeem said: "Once the mosque dissolved lots and lots of people started asking me for the money back.
"I'd obviously handed it to Mr Rahman."

Asked about the police inquiry, she said: 'I saw the bank accounts myself, and on the dates I had given my money a lot of the cash had not gone in.

"What had been deposited was mostly big cheques, and even then the money had been taken out from [a bank in] Chelmsford.

"That was when I realised the money hadn't been used for the purposes of the mosque."

A total of 13 claimants are jointly bringing the case against Mr Rahman and co-accused Mr Edoo, who was also involved in raising the funds.

All were then practising Muslims living in and around Brentwood and Billericay.

Giving evidence, Abdool Soobratty, who is suing to get £1,000 back, said: "I had all my trust in him as the Imam, but it didn't materialise.

"This was for a specific purpose."

Mr Rahman and Mr Edoo are accused of a breach of trust, which they both deny.

They say the funds were gifts, and did not meet strict criteria for a loan under Islamic law.

Under Qardhe Hasanah, a loan agreement must be made in writing, must set out the date of repayment, and should be witnessed by two people, the court heard.

The ongoing trial is expected to last four days.

Egypt’s ruling Islamists move to ban selling of alcohol

Egypt’s Islamist government will no longer issue licenses for selling alcohol in certain areas of Cairo, Alexandria and other major cities, an official has said.

Nabil Abbas, the vice president of the New Urban Communities Authorities (NUCA) told Reuters on Sunday: “NUCA has stopped renewing licenses to sell alcohol but the current ones will continue until they expire.”

The current law states that only licensed outlets can sell alcoholic beverages.

The authority said the move will reduce access to alcohol and will increase safety in Egypt’s suburbs. In his statement Abbas said that the consumption of alcohol has led to deviant behavior in the country such “attacking women and randomly ringing doorbells of people’s homes.”

However, Ahmed Abdulhay, a Cairo resident and an opponent of the Muslim Brotherhood rejected Abbas’s statement as “totally untrue.”

In an interview with Al Arabiya, he said only a small number of Egyptians drink heavily. “They cannot be causing such a large problem that deserves this much attention by the government.”

This is just a way for the authorities to “impose their views” on society, Abdulhay said.

Islamist President Mohamed Mursi’s government increased taxes on alcoholic beverages in December 2012, but they reneged after the move was criticized.

When asked if there had been an angry reaction to the newest proposal, Abdulhay said: “No, people who drink know where they can go,” adding that there hasn’t been a widespread ban on the activity.

Saudi police walked into the wedding of a local man, arrested him and led him away to the shock of the guests that have packed the wedding hall and were waiting to eat.

Police said they seized the man after his father reported that he disobeyed him and married against his wish.

“The father told police that he had picked a wife for his son but that he disobeyed him and married another one,” Alsaudi daily said without mentioning where in Saudi Arabia the incident took place.

Shoppers in the busy town centre in Kuwait became curious when they noticed that the man inside a parked car had spent a long time asleep.
 
They became suspicious when he appeared not to be moving.
 
“They phoned the police and told them there was a dead man in the car,” the Kuwaiti Arabic language daily Alwatan said.

PA Gang Kidnapped Elderly Israeli Cabbie

An Arab gang kidnapped a 70-year-old Israel cabbie, beat him, and threw him out along the road to Ramallah.

Two Palestinian Authority resident Arab men have been arrested in connection to the kidnapping and beating of an elderly Israeli cab driver. The attack in question took place in January, but was under a gag order until Wednesday.

The attack began when the cab driver, 70, picked up three Arab men as passengers. The three asked him to stop, then pounced on him and tied a rope around his neck and beat him.

They then threw him in the back seat of the car and took off toward Ramallah. At some point they stopped and hurled him from the car at the side of the highway.

The badly injured cabbie managed to make his way to a Palestinian Authority police station, where he was given emergency first aid and then sent back to Israeli territory, where he was hospitalized in moderate-to-serious condition.

One of the two men arrested in connection with the attack was nabbed after a similar crime. He was found with property stolen from the first cabbie in his possession.

ANSAmed) - ANKARA, FEBRUARY 19 - Some 17,000 new mosques have been built during Turkish Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan's 10 years of leadership, Milliyet reports.

In the same period the amount of public schools has remained at 32,000 while the number of mosques has jumped from 76,000 to 93,000. Turkey's secular opposition has accused Erdogan of having a ''secret plan'' to re-Islamisize the nation.

Erdogan recently announced the construction of a new mega-mosque in Istanbul which will ''be seen from every corner of the Bosphorus'' and will have the tallest minarets in the world. (ANSAmed).

Pakistani clerics to boycott peace conference denouncing violence to protest Taliban bashing

ISLAMABAD — Pakistani clerics upset with anti-Taliban comments coming out of Afghanistan said Monday they will boycott a conference of religious leaders being held to denounce violence and press for a peaceful end to the 11-year-old Afghan war.

The head of the Pakistani clerics, Mufti Abu Huraira Mohiuddin sent a letter to his Afghan counterpart on Sunday announcing the move. In the letter, a copy of which was obtained by The Associated Press, Mohiuddin accused some Afghan clerics of using “unsavory language” against the Taliban and said the conference was shaping up to be a one-sided attack on the Taliban rather than a conference to press for peace.

The letter appeared to put an end to an initiative that began last November when Kabul and Islamabad announced the plan to hold a peace conference.

The ambitious initiative called for 500 clerics from Afghanistan and Pakistan to gather in Kabul in March to present a united front opposing violence, denouncing suicide bombings and urging all sides in the protracted conflict to pursue peace. At the time, the plan was touted as a sign of improving relations between Kabul and Islamabad. But the latest dispute highlights the difficulty of getting the squabbling neighbors to sit together.

Still, Pakistan is seen as key to any peace agreement with Taliban insurgents ahead of the 2014 withdrawal of NATO and U.S. troops from Afghanistan, and it’s believed that Islamabad is the best hope of getting the Taliban to enter into serious negotiations.

The Taliban were given office space in Persian Gulf state of Qatar last year when the U.S. and Taliban opened secret talks. But those discussions stalled after the U.S. refused to release five Taliban from Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

Yet the Taliban have participated in at least two international conferences and U.S. and European officials, speaking on condition of anonymity because of the fragility of the talks, say the Taliban are in touch with representatives of 30 to 40 countries. The proliferation of interlocutors has angered Afghan President Hamid Karzai who wants all peace negotiations channeled through his government even though the Taliban are steadfastly refusing to talk to his government.

Some members of the Afghan High Peace Council had hoped that 500 clerics from Afghanistan and Pakistan would have had the clout to propel the Taliban into direct talks with the government.

But the dispute among the clerics began last week in Islamabad when Pakistan’s delegation suggested the Taliban should be represented at the Kabul conference. It initially appeared a compromise had been reached and a complete breakdown avoided in the final communique, which said “the conference will not be in support of or against anyone and/or any group, but it will be in the light of Islamic principles.”

But by Sunday the Pakistani clerics had decided statements made by some of the Afghan delegates upon their return to Kabul were tantamount to taking sides against the Taliban.

Mohiuddin, in a letter addressed to the top Afghan cleric, said that the Pakistani delegation had to decline the invitation to take part “in the contentious meeting and subsequent peace conference in Kabul and shall have no role to play in it in the near future.”

In Kabul, Maulvi Shahzada Shahid, a member of Afghanistan’s High Peace Council, said the letter had been received.

“We know that in the letter they say they will not participate, but I can’t go into details for the time being,” he told The AP by telephone.

Birmingham Muslims Irfan Naseer, Irfan Khalid, and Ashik Ali Found Guilty of Epic Bomb Plot

Birmingham (BBC)—Three would-be suicide bombers who plotted to carry out an attack to rival the 7 July and 9/11 atrocities have been found guilty of terrorism charges.

Irfan Naseer, 31, Irfan Khalid, 27, and Ashik Ali, 27, from Birmingham, were found guilty at Woolwich Crown Court of being "central figures" in the plan.

Jurors were told they planned to set off up to eight bombs in rucksacks, using timers to detonate the charges.

Police described the men as "committed, passionate extremists".

The trio were arrested in 2011 amid fears an attack was imminent.

Detectives believe it is the most significant terror plot to be uncovered since the 2006 conspiracy to blow up transatlantic airliners using bombs disguised as soft drinks.

Khalid even boasted that the attack was "another 9/11" and "revenge for everything".

The three men were found guilty of 12 counts of preparing for acts of terrorism between December 2010 and their arrest in September the following year.

The jury heard that Naseer and Khalid had received training from al-Qaeda contacts in Pakistan - and had recorded martyrdom videos there before returning to the UK.

Having recruited others, the group posed as legitimate charity workers on the streets of Birmingham and collected thousands of pounds from unsuspecting members of the public.

Naseer played a key role in sending four other Birmingham men to Pakistan to receive training. All of these have already pleaded guilty to preparing for acts of terrorism: Ishaaq Hussain, 21, Shahid Khan, 21, Naweed Ali, 25, and Khobaib Hussain, 22.

Two other Birmingham men who were part of Naseer and Khalid's plans, Rahin Ahmed, 27, and Mujahid Hussain, 21, have also pleaded guilty to terrorism charges.

The judge told the men they would all face life in prison when they were sentenced in April or May.

THE number of civilian casualties in Afghanistan has decreased for the first time in six years, said the UN, but targeted killings by insurgents — particularly of women, girls and government employees — increased dramatically.

In its annual report on the protection of civilians in armed conflict, the UN recorded 2,754 Afghan civilians being killed in 2012, a decrease of 12 per cent compared with 2011, and 4,805 being injured, a slight rise.

The overall decline was attributed in part to one of the worst winters on record impeding fighting. Fewer suicide bomb attacks and a fall in the number of air strikes also helped ease 2012’s death toll.

But the report showed a 20 per cent increase in the number of women and girls killed or injured. Deliberate targeting by the Taliban and other insurgents also tripled in 2012, said the UN. Most were hit while in their homes or working in fields.

Of the 854 female casualties, 504 were a result of insurgent attacks, while foreign and Afghan troops were responsible for 155 deaths and injuries. Tragically, however, more than 200 female casualties were unattributable and could only be explained by the UN as a result of “the explosive remnants of war”.

The UN warned about the sanctioned use of local militias and their recruitment to the Afghan Local Police, particularly in the north and northeast of the country. The ALP is a localised militia-based force whose training was suspended by US forces in September owing to a dramatic rise in the number of inside attacks carried out by recruits.

According to the UN, the use of the ALP “unintentionally contributed to expand and solidify the power of armed groups” in the north.

The north saw some of the worst targeted assassinations by insurgents of government employees, a tactic which also spiked, the report said, resulting in a dramatic 700 per cent increase in the number of civilian casualties attributed to this type of violence in 2012.

By contrast the number of Afghan civilians killed by Nato-led and Afghan security forces dropped by nearly 40 per cent.

A spokesman for the Taliban dismissed the report, calling it “a vehicle of propaganda against” the group. “…You cannot find a single operation by the Taliban in which civilians have been killed … We are raising a jihad … for the freedom of the Afghan people,” said Zabiullah Mujahed.

The UN also said it had identified a shift in the Taliban’s public relations efforts.

The group’s promotion of insider attacks on foreign troops and the pin-pointing of military targets, the report said, showed “a heightened awareness” by Taliban leadership of a need to publicly demonstrate that it wants to protect Afghan civilians, and win “hearts and minds”. — The Guardian, London

Teenager "branded" by alleged abuser, Old Bailey hears

A TEENAGER has described how she was branded by an alleged gang member so people knew she "belonged" to him.

The witness also told the Old Bailey Mohammed Karrar hit her around the head and sexually assaulted her with a baseball bat when she was 12.

She is one of six to claim they were groomed and abused by nine men accused of running a child sex exploitation gang in Oxford.

Known as Girl 4 as she cannot be named, she says brothers Mohammed and Bassam Karrar raped and prostituted her between the ages of 11 and 15.

Now 19, she told the jury on Wednesday that Mohammed Karrar, 38, made her feel like they were in a relationship before making her have sex with other men.

She said when she was 12 he bent one of her hair pins into the letter M, heated it, and "branded" her bottom.

She said: "He was basically branding me so people knew that I was his."

The young woman said the two brothers would rape her together.

She described Bassam as "pervy". She said: "They have got no respect for no woman. They made that quite clear."

Giving evidence through a video link, the teen said when she was 12-and-a-half Mohammed Karrar tried to rape her in a bathroom but she grabbed his knife and threatened to stab him.

Karrar took her downstairs and hit her around the head with a metal baseball bat, the court heard.

She said: "I remember whistling in my ear. My head felt really heavy and pounded."

When she came round Karrar was assaulting her with the bat handle, the jury heard.

The witness said: "I hated him when he done that and felt it was my own fault because I shouldn't have threatened him with the knife."

She said Mohammed Karrar would take her to hotels and private properties to serve drink, drugs and provide sex services.

There would be up to 15 men and it could happen up to four times a week, the court heard.

The child was made to act out tmen's "weird fantasies" and was sexually assaulted with knife handles and meat cleavers, the court heard.

If she refused to have sex, the brothers would go "mad", the jury heard.

The witness said: "If I kicked off I would be restrained."

She said her abusers would speak in a language she did not understand and laugh at her.

The teen also said she saw men paying Mohammed Karrar.

And she said after she had been with other men he would wash and scrub her - sometimes until she bled.

He would call her "dirty" and "sarcastically" ask her if she had enjoyed it, the teen said.

She said: "It just made me feel lower and lower."

The witness said if she refused sex Mohammed would "guilt trip" her and tell her he loved her.

But she said his brother would not "beat around the bush" and would tell her to "shut up" and "do as you've been told".

The young woman said Mohammed Karrar would make her wear suspenders and nurse uniforms, adding: "He said that he was really ill but he was not ill."

All nine defendants deny all 51 counts. The trial continues.

Jersey City, New Jersey – A Muslim man is behind bars tonight and is facing murder and desecration charges after beheading two Egyptian Christians and cutting off their hands.

Reports state that 28-year-old Yusuf Ibrahim of Jersey City killed 25-year-old Hanny F. Tawadros and 27-year-old Amgad A. Konds earlier this month by shooting them in the chest at close range. He then beheaded the men and chopped off their hands, and took off with the car belonging to one of his victims.

Ibrahim buried the various body parts in separate shallow graves just outside of Philadelphia, where they were later uncovered by authorities. One of the men had just recently moved to New Jersey from Egypt.

RTV-6 states that Ibrahim knew the men and killed them following an argument. He was taken into custody by police, who reportedly had been tipped off about the matter, after the bodies of the two men were discovered in the back yard of a home in Buena Vista. Police state that Ibrahim intended on setting the Mercedez Benz of one of the victims on fire, but took off after being spotted by officers. He was later caught and arrested at his apartment after a thorough investigation was conducted.

Ibrahim has been incarcerated on $3 million bail, and recently appeared to face charges via a video link from the Hudson County Jail. He is facing two counts each of murder and desecrating human remains.

While an impetus is not yet known for the crime, some are concerned that it might be religiously motivated. “The killing evokes this passage in the Quran: ‘When thy Lord was revealing to the angels, ‘I am with you; so confirm the believers. I shall cast into the unbelievers’ hearts terror; so smite above the necks, and smite every finger of them!’” she said. “The victims were Coptic Christians and the murderer was Muslim, and we are painfully aware of the status and treatment of Coptic Christians under Muslim rule in Egypt.”

Egyptian Muslim Group Jihad al-Kufr Tells Copts to Convert or Die

Now where on earth would a group of Muslims get the idea that they should compel people to convert to Islam? I've been watching all of the television specials about Islam, and not one of them says that Islam promotes forcing people to convert. I'm totally confused. If only I could find something in the Muslim sources that would help clear things up.

Sahih Muslim 33—The Messenger of Allah said: I have been commanded to fight against people till they testify that there is no god but Allah, that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah, and they establish prayer, and pay Zakat and if they do it, their blood and property are guaranteed protection on my behalf except when justified by law, and their affairs rest with Allah.

Hmmm. Now it all makes sense.

Egypt (FoxNews)—A group of Christian priests from a local Coptic church in Egypt were told to convert to Islam or face death, according to an Arabic news site.

The incident, which comes in the midst of continued persecution and pressure on Egypt’s Christian community, took place this week in the town of Safaga, near the Red Sea, the El Balad site reported.

According to El Balad, the threats are from a new group in Egypt, Jihad al-Kufr, whose name translates to Jihad against non-believers or non-Muslims. The group targets non-Muslims, and reportedly pressures them to convert to Islam.

“It’s not the first time. This is happening every day,” said Adel Guindy, president of Coptic Solidarity and a member of Egypt’s Coptic community who travels between Paris and Cairo. “This one incident caught the attention of the news agencies, but there are worse things happening to the Christians every day in Egypt,” he said.

Christians have felt increasingly at risk since the fall of former President Hosni Mubarak in 2011, which resulted in the rise of President Mohammed Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood movement.

“It has definitely worsened under the revolution. Once the worst part of the society surfaced -- the Islamists -- the Copts are paying a heavy price. The West doesn’t really feel our pain. It’s a war of attrition,” Guindy said.

Bangladesh cracks down on counter-jihad blogs

Counter-jihad blogger Ahmed Rajib Haider was brutally murdered. In response, are Bangladeshi authorities cracking down on jihadists and Islamic supremacists? Of course not. They're shutting down counter-jihad blogs, of course -- in line with the Islamic supremacist authoritarian impulse to crush all dissent.

DHAKA: Bangladesh has launched a crackdown on Internet sites for “hurting religious feelings” in the majority Muslim nation amid protests by Islamic groups against bloggers seen as anti-Islamic, officials said Thursday.
Giasuddin Ahmed, vice chairman of the country’s telecommunications regulator, told AFP at least two websites had been blocked. Authorities had also removed 10 blog posts for “spreading hatred, provoking social disorder and hurting religious feelings of the people”.

“We’ve taken the actions in line with the country’s ICT (Information Communication Technology) Act,” he told AFP.

Authorities have also asked blog operators to “moderate” their posts to try to filter out anti-religious writings, another official said.

Tensions have risen in Bangladesh over the alleged anti-Islamic blog posts by Ahmed Rajib Haider, who was hacked to death near his home in the capital Dhaka last week.

In recent weeks Haider and fellow bloggers had launched huge protests demanding a ban on the largest Islamic party Jamaat-e-Islami, and the execution of its leaders for alleged war crimes in the 1971 war for independence.

Police have yet to comment on a motive for Haider’s killing. But his brother said Haider was targeted by Jamaat’s student wing for his online activities.

Fellow bloggers said a pro-Jamaat website had issued a veiled threat against Haider. Jamaat has condemned the murder and denied any role....

Threat averted: 13 bombs defused near girls school

BANNU: Thirteen bombs were defused by the bomb disposal squad (BDS) in Bangash Khel area on the outskirts of Bannu on Thursday.

Mandan police official Imran Khan said that at 7am, authorities were informed by a local about a bomb planted by unidentified militants inside a girls primary school. He said heavy contingents of police rushed to the site, surrounded the area and told students not to come out of the building.

At around 9am, BDS in-charge Wasal Khan and his team reached the school and started searching, but were unable to find a bomb in the building. Meanwhile, a police constable guarding the school’s rear spotted two sacks inside a graveyard close by. When inspected, several bombs were found inside the bags.

According to Wasal Khan, the sacks contained a total of 13 bombs which were divided into two 10-kilogramme devices, two 8kg devices and nine 1kg devices.

The number of terror related incidents in Mandan police station’s jurisdiction has gone up in the past week. Earlier, two policemen were killed by unidentified motorcyclists, while on Monday and Tuesday the BDS defused explosives weighing 20 kilogrammes and 12 kilogrammes, respectively.
