Pastor Smith was truly a giant of this century and will be remembered as one of the most prominent Bible-believing evangelical preachers of all time. He was also a noble and moral man in every sense of the word. The denomination he founded, Calvary Chapel, is probably the most pro-Israel of any in existence today. This is sad for us, but a great day for Chuck. He endured a horrible two-year battle with lung cancer (but never smoked a day in his life) and is now resting in comfort with Hashem.

Yeah I attended one for a few years.
