What if the US defaults?

Is this a good thing? We would no longer borrow so much...Or will this mean-financial collapse? Maybe the end of dollar?
Serbia will never surrender Kosovo to the breakaway province's ethnic Albanian majority or trade its territory for European Union or NATO membership,

The US wouldn't default unless all other options were exhausted...  It will be a very slow process.... kinda like a person who has maxed out all their credit cards... and is trying to bum money off every friend and relative they can find.... so I would give it about 15-20 years.... and when it happens.....  catastrophe is an understatement.
