This important Hebrew video starts by showing the extreme leftist Uri Avneri stating that Aryeh Deri, the leader of the Shas party, is "more extreme than I am." Considering that Avneri literally favors the destruction of Israel and offered to be a "human shield" to protect the Arab Hitler Yasser Arafat, that is quite a statement. In the video, we then explain that the Mizrachim (Jews from Muslim and Third World countries who are almost half of Israeli Jewry) were once overwhelmingly right-wing. But Deri and Shas have succeeded in brainwashing many of them. We conclude by warning that we must fight the attempt by Deri and Shas to turn the Mizrachim into leftists, G-d forbid.
