Asked which proposals they would prefer to see enacted to cut the federal deficit, respondents tended to favor increasing taxes for the wealthy and cutting certain types of military spending - including on the nuclear arsenal and the size of the Navy fleet.

More than 70 percent also said they would prefer not to see any cuts to education spending on kindergarten through high school, the poll showed.

An excellent example of why voting should be restricted to those 25 and older, who have full time jobs. 

In the past, Dan Ben Noah said that women shouldn't be allowed to vote either.  But I have mixed feelings about that.  I mean, I'm a woman and I'm pretty conservative, and I work full time.  And I don't want other right wing conservative women here denied that right in favor of some stupid liberal men.

No honest or sane legislator would pay attention to the opinions of this age group. Unfortunately we have neither honest or sane legislators, so they're pandered to quite often.
