This song is a funky plea for clean drinking water for black Africans.  The singer says at one point, 'All this talk of black power ... water no get enemy!'

In other words, it's more effective to show images of starving African children without clean drinking water than to march around saying that you have 'black power'.

So what's your opinion on the black power movement?

It seems that it's mostly blacks in the USA who chant about black power.

Here in Europe, blacks are somewhat well integrated and have a never-ending supply of young white people who are willing to go out with them.

Maybe we Europeans are softer towards blacks because we associate them with jazz and poverty?

They want the power and therefore do bad things to get to it.

The only stronghold of power that a lot of blacks have is in the gangs and drug rings in which they can mess up peoples lives completely.
