The "political correct" way of labeling left wing Jews
« on: August 08, 2007, 08:02:48 PM »
I was just thinking about this coming from the Mancow thread:

I think the proper way of speaking of left wing Jews is not to talk about how they don't love Israel; The proper way to lable them is that they don't love Israel the way they ought to.  I know plenty of lefties that love Israel..but go about it completely the wrong way!  In addition, by saying it this way, the next question would be, "then how should Jews love Israel and fellow Jews?"

Here's the deal: Left wing Jews want an Israel with peaceful neighbors and they way they think to acquire this peace is via appeasement.  That's the wrong way to love Israel.

The right way to love Israel is by destroying her enemies until they fall to their knees and become permanently paralyzed to ever molest us again!
If someone says something bad about you, say something nice about them. That way, both of you would be lying.

Dan, I think you're giving some of these left wing Jews too much credit.  Some of them openly advocate the destruction of Israel.  That doesn't sound like love to me.  If you don't believe me, check out www.frontpagemag.com, which often covers the antics of lefties in academia.

Woa woa woa hold on..I'm not talking about communist socialist left wing Jews...i'm talking about Jews who are taken by leftist ideology...who love Israel in a different way we do. i'm not talking about Hippy Jews who are pro-Arab and blame everything on Israel..I'm talking about left of center normal Jews..get it?

Even them I think mostly hate Israel and are clever enough to use euphemisms.

Yeah he's talking about your typical New York Israel Parade marching, Hillary-voting, welfare-loving, politically correct, illegal-immigrant-loving, Israel-visiting, AIPAC-supporting, Israeli donation-giving, supporter of tough response to Hezballah war.type of person

I truly believe that those kinds of Jews are the largest amount of Jews out there in the U.S.  They don't hate Israel and want Israel to be destroyed.  They love Israel but they are misguided about what is good for Israel.  Like dannycookie said, they think appeasement will work and they think that there is a way for permanent peace if Israel gives up all its land, but they are just misguided because they have been fed this by the world media for so long.  It's not really their faults, they love Israel, they are just misguided about the political reality.  If you tell them that they don't love Israel it is probably deeply offensive to these people.  Look, I think it's always better to speak about how these people are misguided rather than how they hate Israel.  Telling people that they are Israel-haters is not going to get them on your side.  Obviously I'm not talking about the self-hating anti-Zionist Israel-hating traitors, we can demonize them all we want because they should be demonized and because they are beyond redemption.  We're talking about the average left-leaning, two-state supporting, AIPAC-donating Jew.  They think that what they support is good for Israel even though they're wrong.  I think we need to state it in that way rather than just saying that they hate Israel.
"The Jews will eventually have to face up to what you're dealing with here.  The arabs will never love you for what good you've brought them.  They don't know how to really love.  But hate!  Oh, G-d, can they hate!  And they have a deep, deep, deep resentment because you have jolted them from their delusions of grandeur and shown them for what they are-a decadent, savage people controlled by a religion that has stripped them of all human ambition . . . except for the few cruel enough and arrogant enough to command them as one commands a mob of sheep.  You are dealing with a mad society and you'd better learn how to control it."

I think they do in their gut hate, at the least, devout, right-wing Jews. They may not consciously THINK they hate Israel, but the end result is just the same. They detest religious faith, be it Judaism or Christianity, except of course for Islam. The fact that they would rather vote for Jew-haters like Hitlery Sodom and David Stinkins over saintly friends of Zion like Jesse Helms or Duncan Hunter doesn't say much for their character.

There are Gentile "two-state" supporters who also don't really think they are anti-Semites, and maybe in their mind they are not, but the end result is no different.

I know that Shoshana, for her first couple of posts, said she supported AIPAC, but at that time she did not know all about AIPAC like we did. She always was a patriotic, right-wing Jew who really had Israel's best interests at heart. The traitor lefties who are in love with wetbacks and make such filthy statements as "the settlers are the problem" have never given a damn about their brothers and sisters in the faith and I doubt that we will ever woo many of them.

You're right about hating the right-wing Jew part.  But you have to understand how these people are brainwashed on a daily basis.  They are told that the right-wing Jews are the ones destroying Israel and preventing a possibility for a "permanent peace".  Its not the Palestinians, nooo, they want peace of course because Islam is a peaceful religion, it's the right wing Jew's fault because they don't want to give the land to the Palestinians even though the Palestinians want peace so badly.

This is what they're fed 24/7 by the media, so it's only natural that they would start to "hate" devout, right-wing Jews.  They think that by hating the right-wing settlers, they are LOVING Israel, because they think a two-state solution is the ONLY solution to the problem.  You're right about the end result being the same, but I'm saying that if they were just educated, it might change the way they think about things.  Look they've been brainwashed their entire lives, of course it's going to be difficult to convince them that they are wrong.  I just think it's silly and unproductive to say that these people hate Israel.  It just doesn't accomplish much.  Even though a majority of them may never change, it doesn't mean we should say that they ALL hate Israel.  I think we need to tell these people that they are misguided, and we need to educate them.  That's why JTF exists, to educate these misled Jews.  I guarantee there are people on JTF who supported a two-state solution, road-map, the whole shebang and who now see the err in their previous way of thinking about the situation.  I'm one of them. ;)

Even though the vast majority of these people will never see the light, I think it's wrong to give up hope on them all.  Even if only a small portion of them change their way of thinking I think it's a great accomplishment.

Are these the types that don't observe holidays?

I can't imagine most who observe Pesach, for example, to want Israel's destruction.

I disagree with that.  Some Jews simply hate fighting and the use of violence and bad language...These are't necessarily bad Jews. These are Jews who are one of the 6 million that would have unfortunately died in the gas chambers.

Hey at one point i supported a two state solution also and I loved Israel...And I used to hate it when it seemed that the religious Jews were forcing secular Jews to become religious...but I still loved and respected more obersvant Judaism...I think this is the typical American and possibly Israeli Jew.  However, the majority of us are brain washed by the left to think in this way.  By blantantly calling everyone is left of the JTF movement all together as self-hating Jews and Israel-haters is, to me a mistake.  WE are all Jews...a lot of us truely love ISrael...BUT, as I was saying before, the vast majority of these Jews are terribly misguided and need to be taught Kahane's ways and how right he was...how do you think I came back to JTF?  IT was that hour long c-span clip Kahane did...and it was around the second war between Hezballa/Lebanon and Israel.  And quite frankly, I am sick and tired of the true enemies of Israel, such as socialists and muzzies always picking on us!  And yes, I also despise the Jews who knowingly know what they are doing along with those enemies!

Those that don't observe are doing the wrong thing.
Those who observe but only say it is something of the past and doesn't pertain to today and do it only for the sake of tradition are blind. History repeats itself.
Those who only observe Pesach yet also complain about menorahs not being next to Christmas trees on Hanukah need to go to Shul on Shavuot and Sukkot.

Wait a minute.  I agree that they are being brainwashed but, after a while, that is not a valid excuse to continue supporting something that doesn't work.  There is enough information out there where people don't need to depend on the "so-called" news agencies that are responsible for much of the brainwashing.  A lot of these people will continue to maintain their ideology about numerous issues, including Israel, regardless of the facts.

Dumping more money into welfare, even though it hasn't worked to date, will eradicate poverty.
Banning firearms, even though it hasn't worked to date, will reduce crime.
Appeasing and financially aiding our enemies, even though it hasn't worked to date, will stop wars.

And the list goes on.

An article from last year at WorldNetDaily mentioned that a poll showed that after the Gaza evacuation, at least 70% of those in Israel were against giving up any more land.

Olmert's approval rating is under 10% or near there.  So I think many in Israel oppose the policies of Sharon and Olmert.
