Great intro. For the dvar Torah on Keri, we know that it's being interpreted as Kerry, but we were discussing in a thread why exactly it could mean that, and what Kerry is to the Jewish people, and what exactly caused us to "merit" him (what aspects are we not following Hashem in that is bringing this).

What's the connection between Keri in Bechukotai and the Halachic term "Ba'al Keri"? Why does the word Keri also refer to a man who had a seminal emission (Any type, even for the mitzvah of Peru U'Revu.)?
