The right thing to do is help one's son or congregant from behaving in that manner.
If someone says something bad about you, say something nice about them. That way, both of you would be lying.

In your heart you know WE are right and in your guts you know THEY are nuts!

If someone's child is addicted to drugs, do you give them more drugs? This is a disgrace. I actually am very near La Mirada. It is one of the most Christian areas of the country, actually, and this will have a huge ripple effect.

Shame on the church for accepting homosexuality. They have been cut off from the tree of life, the Holy scriptures, for embracing evil and calling it good. All those who suffer with the plague of homosexuality must admit that they are afflicted, they must confess their sins, and if they truly repent of their evil ways they are most certainly invited to be members of the community. If they can properly deal with urges like this  they are righteous folk. But if they fail their test they are heading for a sentence of gehinnom (for a time). There is no leniency when it comes to sexual morality.

You shall make yourself the Festival of Sukkoth for seven days, when you gather in [the produce] from your threshing floor and your vat.And you shall rejoice in your Festival-you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow, who are within your cities
Duet 16:13-14
