KOSOVSKA MITROVICA -- Two passenger cars burned down in northern Kosovska Mitrovica early Tuesday in what was most likely an intentional fire, Tanjug learned from the Kosovo police.

Regional police chief Željko Bojić told Tanjug that two vehicles, a Chrysler and a Mercedes S500, burned down at 4.55 a.m. in a fire in the northern part of Kosovska Mitrovica.

He identified the owner of the vehicles as J.I., who he said is a resident of Kosovska Mitrovica, and added that the police arrived on the scene to investigate the incident.

"Following an investigation, the conclusion is that the fire was most likely intentionally set. The police are undertaking further measures and activities to identify and find the suspect," Bojić added.

Probably criminal related, not ethnic. Economic situation in occupied Kosovo and Metohija is much worse than in the rest of Serbia, so only criminals could afford Mercedes S-class and, probably also luxury, Chrysler as well.

Do you denie the ethnic problems in Mitrovica? It's to easy to say 'it's probaly criminal related'. The ethnic tentions are still very high in the region.

No, just in this case.

Albanians want ethnically clean Kosmet. They hate everyone. They hate Serbs the most (probably because majority of them are albanised Serbs, like in the northern Albania). They hate Turks (who converted them to islam during Ottoman occupation), even though they are also muslims (although majority of Albanians are in fact atheists).

Albanians are primitive herder (cattleman) people from Caucasus. They are not capable of ruling a country. They are not even used to working (in this modern times). They got used to getting everything for free (from us, and later from west). West is now paying less and less money to them (Germany give them the most out of all the countries), and since now they actulay need to work in order to actualy get something (they can't all deal drugs), and even to pay taxes, electricity and so on, their "country" is falling apart slowly...

I agree with that. The Albanians are the worst kind of people if you ask me. The only think they actually CAN do is drug business and human-traffic.

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA -- One passenger vehicle was burned down and another was damaged in Kosovska Mitrovica late on Thursday.

The incident was "most likely an arson attack," the Kosovo police told Tanjug.

Regional police chief Željko Bojić said that a Fiat Stilo, owned by a Kosovo Serb who works for the local prison, was torched at about 23:00 CET.

A Volkswagen Polo parked next to the car was damaged in the fire, and the initial results of the investigation indicate that it was an arson attack, Bojić added.

It is this week's second case of vehicle arson in Kosovska Mitrovica.

The Kosovo police classify both cases as causing general danger, and are looking for the perpetrators.

In a similar incident, two cars owned by a Kosovska Mitrovica Serb were burned down in the early morning hours three days ago.
