Hello from Germany!

<< < (15/17) > >>

Husar:
Ultra Requete,

I know it's not the topic, but,
did you know the Husars, as a fighting tactic,
are of Serbian Origin ?

 ;)

mord:
Lead by Polish King Jan Sobieski also had Austrians and another country i forgot

Husar:
Polish themselves called the hussars RACOWIE with a meaning RACOWIE-SERBOWIE.

From RAC, RASCIA, one of the two names Serbia had in the Balkan,
the other being ZETA (nowadays "monteneggro").

Serbian hussars came to Poland via Hungary,
where they were called RACZ,
always meaning the same
РАШАНИ, RAShANi,
from РАШКА, RAShKA
(SERBIA).

Originally, they were named in Serbian ГУСАРИ, GUSARI,
meaning something, at that time,
XIVth century, like "mercenaries",
which became in later Serb "pirates".

I'm sorry using the "hello from germany...(blyarks !!!!)" topic
for writing about the Hussaria.

 ;)

Ultra Requete:
I didn't knew they're from Serbia, only that they came to Polish-Lituanian commonwealth from Hungary; but hungarian pattern husars were always light cavalery; and our hussaria were heavy shock troops the XVI and XVII century tank formations; I can only say that they beated a few germans (in Swedish service) too.
Here is pic of Polish Uhlan from the Napoleon's Old Guard killing Prussian husar:

here is something totaly off topic about Polish Uhlan lancers:

Husar:
After the Kosovo Field Battle,
remaining Serbian Vlastela and Vitezovi (Nobles and Knights),
were engaged by Hungary as EXCELLENT HORSEMEN and FIGHTERS.
Hungary, until then, had a bad cavalery provided by cumans and other asiatics.
Serbs, then also called Racz by the hungarians (once again: Rashka=Serbia),
achieved successfuly their missions for the hungarian Crown,
and were very well famed.
No wonder Poland had an eye on them,
Serbian Gusari (Husari) came there, in Poland, where they would be called
RACOWIE/SERBOWIE by the Poles themselves.

Hussaria became Europe-spread cavalery.

 ;)

NAZICROATS do not agree with this..........
NAZICROATS do not agree (in public) they're the most evil nazis ever...........
