The Peace Train Has Left the Station
The silly people on the left have created a new campaign to try and force the rest of the country to capitulate to their suicidal fantasies, this time by riding trains and imposing themselves onto other people's conferences.

The silly people on the left have created a new campaign group to try and force the rest of the country to capitulate to their suicidal fantasies of capitulation to Arab/Islamic terror.

This time around they are calling themselves “Women Wage Peace”, and according to Haaretz, their message is, “Israel and the Palestinians must restart peace talks immediately, and this time around, women need to be sitting at the negotiating table.”

As one founder said, “Fifty one percent of the population in this country cannot accept a situation where they have no political say.”

(Hold on, I know you’re jumping at the bit already at the obvious, but left me finish.)

How did they kick off their latest peace venture? They had a few hundred Israeli women board a train to Sderot for their launch ceremony at Sapir College.

And why did they choose Sapir College, and why that specific day?

So they could impose themselves onto someone else’s existing annual conference, the “Sderot Conference on Society” which was held on that same day and draws many political leaders (some, at least, I would presume are women).

“Make yourself visible… Let them see that you’re here,” one organizer openly telling the left-wing women to leech themselves onto someone else’s conference for the free access to the politicians and dignitaries.

Now, I could go after the low hanging fruit and point out that most (but not all) of these train riders wouldn’t dare step foot on a train to Sderot when the rockets were falling – to talk about making peace with Hamas. And I could talk about the terrorists’ mothers (also women) who are proud their sons are martyrs and killed Jews.

But I’m not going there.

Instead I’m going to point out a little detail they seem to have overlooked.

For the past year and a half or so, not just sitting at the peace talks table, but actually in charge of the peace negotiations for Israel, has not only been a leftist, but a female leftist, our Justice Minister Tzipi Livni.

Now color me stupid, but if a powerful left-wing woman, our Minister of Justice, who is sitting at the head of peace negotiations table couldn’t bring peace, then what exactly is this group’s message when they say, “women need to be sitting at the negotiating table”?

When they say women have no political say, are they implying that Tzipi Livni is not a woman?

Sometimes I think being a leftist simply means disconnecting yourself from inconvenient realities.
