We had a saying in the Corps, "If you don't want my opinion, don't ask me for it."
Daniel Murphy gave his, and was then was slammed.

He didn't mention G-d. He mentioned Jesus. It's still his Constitutional right though. If someone thanked Allah and said "peace be upon Mohammad", it would be Islamophobic to criticize him for saying that.
