Wasn't he part of a group that was undermining the ability to take out or delay an Iraq reactor in the early 80's? 

He doesn't seem like someone who would write an article about how a so-called "Israeli lobby" is a clear myth.

The only problem is that it serves the corporate interests of CFR, rather than America and Israel.

Sure. Take the weapons provider Lockheed Martin, a corporate member of CFR. AIPAC works to send large amounts of military aid to Israel, most of which must be reinvested in U.S. industries.

Lockheed Martin then receives hundreds of millions from Israel for research and development and likely works directly or indirectly with AIPAC to keep the cash coming.

Does a massive interest-group/lobby like AFL-CIO receive corporate donations? Yup.
Does a massive interest-group/lobby like the NRA receive corporate donations? Yup.
 
Does AIPAC receive funding from Jewish federations? You betcha.
Do Fortune 500 companies who sit on CFR ever fund Jewish federations? I'd be hard-pressed to find one that doesn't.

This relationship has been going on since the days of Truman and Eisenhower.
