Songs that exemplify Islam
« on: September 12, 2007, 07:07:17 AM »
Obviously I'm a bit bored.  I'll begin.

"Cradle of Love" by Billy Idol

Some lyrics with commentary:

It burned like a ball of fire (I am so hot for Aisha)
When the rebel took a little child bride (I know, I'll marry her)
To tease yeah so go easy yeah (Ooohhh what I could do with a 6 year old, better wait till she's 9, though)

Cause love cuts a million ways (I'm bored with my wife)
Shakes the devil when he misbehaves (but adultery is not permitted)
I ain't nobody's fool (I'll just invent a religion)
Come on shake it up (and change the rules as I go)
Whatever I do (declare myself a prophet and do what I like muahahahahaha)

"When the people fear their government, there is tyranny;
when the government fears the people, there is liberty.”
---Thomas Jefferson
