Hello from Shangri - La

Hi bullcat jr., Whats it like living in Shangri-La do you live on one of the high mountains in the picture ;D. One of our presidents use to visit a place called Shangri-La during his time off do you know which one?

I have an Uncle who is really smart. He tells me about history all the time.
That president was FDR. My Mom helped me find this picture.
Franklin D. Roosevelt and Winston Churchill in Shangri La (May 14, 1943).

Well I have to say bullcat jr. you and your mom are good researchers. I have quite a few books on FDR and Churchill and I don't think I ever saw that picture before. Thanks for finding it. FDR had another place he use to spend time at called the Little White House do you know where that is?

I visited that little house some years ago and it still has all FDR's stuff in it almost as he left it the day he died there. Its a great place to visit and they have quite a bit to see there in addition to that nice little house. Not many folks know this but beside this little house FDR had another small house he used as a retreat called Top Cottage see if you can find out where that one is.
