A couple of questions about Israel...

I'm curious, in Israel do most folks have to walk around with guns there? Like going out to a grocery store, does one see a lot of M-16s on regular peoples' shoulders?

Also, what's the main language spoken there?

Lastly, do they have what many might consider *world class* universities? And, too, which college or university in Israel is generally regarded as being the best? AND, if there is one in particular that stands out, what course of training or subject matter is it most noted for?

They certainly have world class universities there, although I can't say which one is better than others.  Furthermore, they have a booming high tech industry over there.  Just so you know, the instant messaging technology (through ICQ) was invented in Israel, among other things.
