For Gentiles, it is permitted to participate in sports that have a nominal degree of risk for injury. But if the aim of the sport is to injure another person, it is forbidden. Learn Torah, kids. Stay away from sports.
Gentiles are obligated to fulfill the Seven Noahide Commandments because they are the eternal command of God, transmitted through Moses our teacher in the Torah. The main and best book on details of Noahide observance is "The Divine Code" by Rabbi Moshe Weiner.

Jews can play basketball. Learning the names of all the players and watching them on tv and reading them on articles and blogs and trading them on fantasy teams is such a complete waste of everything a million things ban it. It is good to exercise and that makes it more enjoyable. You know for sure the guy will never be a scholar if he cares who scored more points this season vs last, but no exercise and will probably not be a real one if he tries.

I agree that it is good to exercise. Walking is the best exercise. You do not need sports. Just get rid of your car. You will have more money to buy Torah books!

I once walked 8 hours in the rain and was good to work out after, walking isn't even exercise for old people, there's a 100 year old guy that runs 20km every morning, it's just pretty. You need to run if you want to touch your abs.

Take the bus instead? Multiply your transport time by 3-10x, no time to study any Torah books, and you'll have less time to make money. You do not need sports, or the virtual reality machine where you think you're flying but it's a super core exercise, but you feel it less than just the treadmill, you're focused on the fun and not the pain.

How about you and I join the WWE? We would make a good tag team.  :)

Fake fighting is not a sport, unless you think every hollywood scene with fake fights or graphics of fights is a sport. s for professional fighting, I had someone go to mma and learn movs to teach me at home. Dude got his head bashed in a thousand times a day to get that knowledge, and my brain is useful so I'll be keeping it and fighting for siuations where i have to defend myself or attack someone who has it coming.
