Monsey New York: Jewish man stabbed in critical condition
« on: November 20, 2019, 08:46:32 AM »
Heartbreaking.  If you're Jewish and don't want to be singled out for attack in New York, you better take off the religious garb,  get a protection dog, walk in pairs, carry a heavy flashlight, or night stick.  It wasn't a robbery.  Their purpose was to hunt down a Jew and stab him to death.

5.40 in the morning is an unusual time for a robbery. I think this criminals must have spied out the street over a time and then waited for him. I am shure it was a political motivated crime, by antisemites.

I agree with you.   These 2 scum scoped everything out ahead of time and planned for an early morning vicious knife assault on a Jew.  They beat and knifed him from behind.  It was Jew Hunting season for them.    I read another article that said the attack happened right outside the synagogue.    I can't even imagine the horrible pain the Jewish man suffered being knifed apart like that.

Yes this must have been a horrible suffering.

In all leftie gouverned big cities of the western world you have this kind of attacks rising. And the perpetrators are coming from different backgrounds of society.

Btw. The police has videotapes I have read. Why they don't show this criminals online, that they can be caught quickly?

Yes, I read that, too.  I hope the video is good enough quality to identify who the perpetrator(s) are, or hopefully  the make and model of their car and or  licence plate.

And this happens a lot.
I'm not sure it's jealously or jealousy alone.  I believe these Farrakhan types incite them.

The cops are not making this a hate crime.  Big surprise there.

Move to Israel where it is safe to wear a yarmulke in public

Really? It happens more in Israel than in Monsey NY. People should make Aaliyah but pretending that Israel is a safe place for Jews and their aren't anti Jewish attacks is a lie and a joke.
Only difference is in Israel Jews have a fighting chance but that's after Jews take hold of real Power in Israel. Only after.

In Monsey. In New York there is probably as much, if you put all America in there's vastly more, and at least the Jews in Israel die knowing what a Jew is.

It depends where in places where you have many Russian Goyim & Arabs there are attacks in places like Bat Ayin no attacks because the Yishuv does not welcome any Goyim not even workers. I feel safer here than in any urban area of America walking around with a yarmulke. Where I live it is an all Jewish neighborhood

Another point to make is in America Jews play it safer. If you ask if something is kosher in a regular Jewish supermarket, most Jews will look around scared and ask you not to speak of that loudly. Many very religious Jews wear a cap over their kippah because they're worried people will know and attack them, it happens. If Jews lived proud and free in America as they do in Israel, likely many more would die from physical attacks, not that they're nearly as bad as the spiritual death that comes from trying to assimilate Hashem away in America.

‘F*ck Those White B*tches’: Racist Horde of Thugs Beat Actress Bloody in New York City

One actress has suffered a concussion, multiple cuts, and bruises, and might have to get multiple surgeries after a horrific attack outside of a New York City bar that may have racial elements. Jennifer Agostini and a friend were having a good time last weekend. But when they left around 3 A.M. on Sunday, a horde of 10-15 thugs brutally beat them. She took pictures of the aftermath and is just covered in blood. The assault was reportedly caused when one of their friends tried to re-enter the bar to get her credit card that was left behind (via NY Post):

Actress Jennifer Agostini, 43, and swimsuit model Prendinellys Garcia, 47, ran up a nearly $1,000 tab at Midtown lounge Sky Room for their friend’s birthday Saturday night before leaving around 3 a.m. Sunday, papers filed in Manhattan Supreme Court sat.

But on their way out of the West 40th Street club, they got jumped and beaten to the ground by a group of 10 to 15 people who were yelling “white motherf—ers,” “dirty white b—-es” and “f—k those white b—-es and their money,” the court papers say.

“It was just this stampede as we were leaving. We just got rushed and assaulted by, I can’t tell you by how many people,” Agostini — who is set to begin filming the show “Brooklyn Ties” this spring — told The Post.

    […]

Agostini and the others — who are asking a judge to have the bar keep surveillance video and other records of the incident — say they don’t know exactly why the brawl erupted.

The incident touched off when one of their friends tried to go back into the bar for a forgotten credit card after their party had left, according to court papers.

The actress wants Sky Room to hold the surveillance footage of the attack. Now, it’s a local crime story for sure, but let’s not kid ourselves that if this was a non-white person, we would have a tad more coverage, along with endless thought pieces and commentaries about how Donald Trump is to blame for this. I hope Agostini finds justice after this horrendous assault.

It is statistically proven. The crime rate in locations with a vast Jewish majority is lower than Switzerland.

Here's an approach to why American Jews should live in Israel that isn't quite as convincing for me as a myriad of others, but uniquely interesting:

http://www.israelnationalnews.com/Articles/Article.aspx/24792

I’m so glad I’m raising my kids in Israel. Here’s why.

I always will be an American living in Israel, despite my best efforts. But my children will grow up to be Israelis and Judaic Hebrew texts will be accessible in a way they never will be for me, Hebrew will be the language of their daily life.

I’m so glad I’m raising my kids in Israel. Here’s why.

Nov 27th 2019, 17:23, by Shira Lankin Sheps

Back when I lived in America, I wouldn’t have called myself a helicopter parent. I would have said that I was vigilant.

I would have told you that my husband and I were “boundaried” as parents, cautious about what we’d let our two kids do. We limited sugar and screen time. We admonished our kids to “Be careful!” — probably too often.

Then we moved to Israel a year ago and everything changed.

Since moving, I’ve come to realize that our old parenting style came with a lot of anxiety. We felt like we needed to shelter our kids as long as we could from the realities of the world.

But in Israel, a place where even children are exposed to the harsh realities of war, terrorism, violence and hatred, the kids somehow have a greater sense of freedom, responsibility and independence. As a new immigrant, I knew that my parenting approach would have to adjust to the cultural and practical differences of life in our new home. So I let go a little.

The first time I let my 9-year-old daughter walk to synagogue alone, we had my uncles visiting for Shabbat and they needed someone to guide them. My daughter escorted them to shul and then walked back on her own, for the first time — red-faced from the heat but wild-eyed and excited by her newfound independence. Now she walks places by herself not just on Shabbat, but all the time. She loves that she gets to explore our beautiful neighborhood independently, and that my husband and I trust that she is responsible enough to use good judgment and be safe.

With my son, I started saying yes more often. He is 6 and the kind of little boy who loves nature. When we first arrived at our new home on the edge of a forest, he immediately felt drawn to the woods, intoxicated by the potential for exploration and discovery. So we let him climb trees, clamber over boulders and observe the little animals he found. Being in Israel, I wanted him to feel drawn to the land, connected to and immersed in its ancient holiness. That desire triumphed any motherly anxiety I was holding onto.

My great-grandparents never could have imagined that my children would be living the dreams of their ancestors in the Jewish state.
Now he’s thriving in the outdoors in a way that was impossible in the suburban apartment complex in which we lived in New Jersey. Meanwhile, I have learned the Hebrew names for all different kinds of snails, which is vital to parenting my 6-year old.

One of the most incredible transformations I’ve seen in my children is their ability to quickly transition to speaking Hebrew. While I still struggle sometimes at the supermarket, my kids are fully immersed with Hebrew-speaking peers and teachers, and have adapted so rapidly it’s hard for me to believe. When they play, they immediately switch to Hebrew — the language of the playground.

My son is learning to read — in Hebrew before English. My daughter is learning math in Hebrew, which means neither of us can figure out what the other one is talking about when we try to do her homework together.

I received a Jewish education through college and my Hebrew is conversational at best, and peppered with way too many biblical terms that aren’t actually used in modern Hebrew. When I pick up a Jewish text to study, I need the help of a dictionary. Nefesh B’Nefesh helped us move and start our new life here, but I still can’t even contemplate trying to read a Hebrew newspaper.

My kids will have none of those issues. When they grow up, they won’t need translation to help them understand the prayer book liturgy. The language and texts of our ancestors will be accessible in a way they never will be for me. For them, Hebrew won’t just be the language of our ancestors and our tradition but of their daily life. That is the greatest gift.

I always will be an American living in Israel, despite my best efforts. But my children will grow up to be Israelis. Their pop-culture references, their slang, their politics — it all will be Israeli. They will have English from home that will help them navigate the world, but Hebrew will root them to this land and its people.

My children are fourth-generation descendants of Holocaust survivors. My great-grandparents never could have imagined that my children would be living the dreams of their ancestors in the Jewish state. This is their birthright, and there is no place like home.

The fear of the L-rd is the beginning of knowledge
