I know there is a Canadian football team called the Eskimos so I searched for Eskimos football team because I didn't remember what city it's from. I wondered if they want to get rid of that too and the Wikipedia article already changed it with the stupid way the Redskins did.

Why don't they just say FT. Many teams in soccer do that. Even some American soccer teams all themselves ____ SC or FC. It's not an American or Canadian thing to do but they are imitating the European naming patterns of a mainly European sport. In Israel they also say FC. For example Maccabi Haifa FC is the Haifa soccer team. Maccabi Haifa BC is the basketball team. They even have HC for hockey in Israel.

I have yet see hockey in Israel

It's in Metulla. Also, there was hockey in one of the Maccabiah Games. It was held in the basketball arena in Jerusalem. Lenny Solomon of Shlock Rock posted a picture of himself there and said how hockey has made it to Israel (promoting aliyah).
