I've talked to many advocating this since he took office, I'm pleased. I think after the judge voted for the homo thing and the base started saying "why did we vote for you", he started making some hardcore moves to connect to his core base. It's nice to make efforts to bring others into the fold, you gotta be relevant to everyone, but if you don't stand for anything, you don't have any base to welcome the new members and it falls apart. Make it good enough for the base to keep them leading all the new voters, and you have a strong movement.
