To restore the nuclear deal is insanity as long Iran is not changing fundamentally. But to restore it with a "hardline" Iranian fanatic is more insane.

True and this type of nuclear ‘deal’ is
“insane” under any circumstances.
After all, they are not currently led by
the Shah of Iran and even then it would
probably not be an advisable move!
