I've noticed in papers and such that there is a lot of legislation that calls for cutting back funds towards public access television. Some senators think it's a dead medium and want to get rid of it entirely.
right now most of the funds that go into public access stations (like QPTV in Queens) come from a percentage of everybody's cable bill. Usually for the year it's like two or three bucks per person. personally i think that's a small price to pay.
i'm sure many of us here on the forum (including myself) discovered JTF on public access, and if we don't do something quick that outlet will disappear completely, and possibly prevent JTF from getting new supporters.
