Gentiles are obligated to fulfill the Seven Noahide Commandments because they are the eternal command of God, transmitted through Moses our teacher in the Torah. The main and best book on details of Noahide observance is "The Divine Code" by Rabbi Moshe Weiner.

In my opinion, if the Jewish people had been even
more effective proselytizing in Biblical days in a divinely
inspired way, then most, if not all of the world would
surely be Jewish. ‘Evangelizing’ in the non Jewish sense
is not a Jewish concept. Good presentation by Rav Singer
  where he makes good points.

A world where most or all people are Jewish is a pipe dream. Most people are patriotic. They won't give up their Gentile identity to live a more restrictive life.
