Why did Puttan start the war?? Was it because he had the potential of having NATO on his doorstep... Sadly as much as the Ukraine feels they are a totally separate country, they are just a bit too involved with Russia itself... They should have found an accommodation with Russia because that's just how this is all going to end anyway.

His intention is to conquer Ukraine. Wars of aggressive conquest over other nations are forbidden as theft for Gentile governments.

Ukraine is a separate country and a separate nation with a separate language. This is obvious to any Slavic speaker. Typical Ukrainian characteristics appear in texts from Galicia and Volynia from the 12th and 13th centuries (Matasović, A Comparative And Historical Grammar Of The Croatian Language, page 27).
