Poll: Many Germans Support National Socialism

German Poll: At Least 25% of Germans Support Some Aspects of Nazism

My guess is that it is more like 99%, and the 74% of Aryans who denied looking fondly back on the Reich were those who were smarter and shrewder (for Western public opinion) than the Muzzies, who unanimously and gleefully report supporting 9/11 and wanting to see Israel destroyed.

Non-Muslim Gentile Nazis (except for the black ones) usually are more cunning and intelligent than Muslim Nazis, wouldn't you say?

Ehud:
You don't think that glorification of motherhood and building a transportation system are good in and of itself?  Of course they're not saying that Nazism in general was a good thing, but there are certain aspects, that taken by themselves and not taking into account the context of the situation, are good.  With everything good, there is always a little bad, and with everything that's bad, there's always a little bit of good, that's how the world is.

Just because there might have been 1% good, it doesn't change the fact that it was 99% bad.  The question they were posed is whether there are SOME good aspects of Nazism, not whether it was good as a whole.

Lewinsky Stinks, Dr. Brennan Rocks:
The point of my poll is to read what is obvious between the lines. If a large chunk of Germans say they supported some of what the Reich did, come on... do you really think they don't support its main objectives?

How does the vast majority of German citizenry feel about Israel, TODAY?

EagleEye:
The poll doesn't say what you say it says.  I could argue that there are some good aspects of the Iranian president, but as a whole, I still don't SUPPORT him.  Surely Hitler was not the ideal leader, surely he caused suffering among Eastern Europeans, Gyspies, and Jews, but that doesn't mean EVERYTHING he did was bad.  If Hitler decided to use tooth paste when he brushes his teeth, it wouldn't make me decide not to.

The new German Nazi party is the NDP.  But I doubt 25% of the population supports that.

No, I don't think a majority support Nazism's main objectives, but there are probably more percentage-wise in Germany that do support its main objectives than in other countries, but that amount is still small.  Generally, Germans ARE more sympathetic to Nazism, but the overwhelming majority of Germans do not support Nazism in any way.

How does the vast majority of German citizenry feel about Israel?  Not any different than the vast majority of the world feels about Israel.  In fact, Germans are probably more sympathetic to Israel than almost every other European country.  Germans feel like they have some duty to Israel, whereas Europe is just completely anti-Semitic and anti-Israel.

Germans are probably less anti-Semitic in general than other Europeans, Barbara Streisand has sold out concerts in Germany and there is a revival of Klezmer music in Germany because people are interested and sympathize with Jews to some extent.

Of course Germany is mainly anti-Israel but this isn't any different than any other European country and this has nothing to do with Nazism and has everything to do with liberalism.
