You know those famous German expressionist films? It seems that The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, Metropolis and Nosferatu were directed and written by the following Jews: Robert Wiene, Carl Mayer, Hans Janowitz, Fritz Lang and Henrik Galeen.

Jews dominated American film in the first half of 20th century. It doesn't surprise me that they were dominant in Germany as well.

These were completely assimilated Mischlinge if they had any jewish identity at all.

According to Wikipedia they were Jews. It is not the most reliable source, but still. There is no such thing as an assimilated Jew. Once a person is Jewish in body and soul, by being born or converted as such, he/she is automatically a permanent member of the eternal Sinai covenant, and G-d will never change that.
