Croatian and Russian are very similar. I decided to become fluent in Russian and these videos are a great help.

I speak a little Russian which I picked up on the streets & also heard as kid when my grandparents didn't want me to understand but I managed to pick up some. I spoke to them in Yiddish

I don't speak Yiddish or Hebrew. A Gentile is permitted to learn Torah in a language he understands. What about Jews? Are they obligated to learn Hebrew and Aramaic?

It is harder to understand without some knowledge of Hebrew & Aramaic but reliable translations like Artscroll are readily available

It's not even reading Torah for real if it's not in Hebrew, it's like reading an article someone wrote about Torah, which is technically Torah study but not pure like that.
